Hart's Hotel

Staff were very welcoming and efficient. However whilst clean the bottom sheet had black marks on it but more importantly the bathroom sliding door needed rehanging as not opening and closing probably. Did let The Receptionist know.

My go to hotel in Nottingham. Always a warm welcome, lovely room with a bath and comfy bed and the mini bar is an added bonus.

Lovely hotel, staff very friendly and obliging, very limited car parking spaces not enough for the size of the hotel, rooms very nice, quality tea and coffee, nice biscuits and toiletries in bathroom, though bathroom blind was disgustingly old with stains on and falling apart ( room 18) easy to turn off radiator in room, beds and pillows comfortable. The restaurant however is beyond pricey, I travel frequently with work and have never paid £36 for a piece of lamb no bigger than my fist a few smashed potatoes and a handful of peas, equally have never had to pay a supplement for my breakfast to have a small portion of smoked salmon! Would I stay again? Only if I could park early enough in the day to guarantee me a parking space and wouldn’t eat in the hotel as its very clearly a right rip off.

Great spot. Minutes to the castle & restaurants, shopping, museums & pubs. 15 mins to train. Small but convenient parking lot. Food selection list was a bit shirt but it was excellent. Room was quiet. Bed was very comfortable. Shower / Bath were really great. Recommended!

Booked a 2 x night stay in one of the garden room at Harts. Booking process was all good, good comms and nice friendly staff on arrival. Good Points: • Location is simply fantastic- just off the city centre • Lovely garden view, with amazing elevated views • Amazing water pressure in the bathrooms, filled the bath so quickly • Lovely large fluffy towels • Individual controlled heating control. No air con Not so great points: • Noise from doors, the hotel is really showing its age and this is most noticeable with the fact that all the individual room doors make a heck of a noise when closed. No soft close here I’m afraid. Around 3:00 PM onwards, the noise is pretty much continuous • Noise from the cleaners, my room number 2 seemed to be where the cleaners congratulated in the mornings. They would literally sit on the floor outside my room, folding sheets and laundry stuff, whilst talking loudly and laughing - incredibly noisy • Very badly stained carpets in the room, not nice at all • Unfortunately for purpose clear frosted glass panels on the bathroom sliding door, which meant that the whole room was flooded with light, despite having the curtains and blinds in the room closed • No working extraction in the bathroom • Mould on the grout lines to the shower area, needs re grouting • Tiny small room, couldn’t even do my yoga. Easily the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in • Awful motorway service station quality loo roll! No excuse on this one, come on guys an extra 50p
