Holiday Inn Express BICESTER by IHG

Breakfast was very good and we were seated quickly. The room was clean, although the pillows were a bit hard and there were only two towels provided despite there being four of us. All of the staff were friendly and polite throughout our stay. The hotel manager, Richard (I believe), was exceptional. He couldn’t do enough to help and was constantly on the move, supporting different departments. It was genuinely refreshing to see such great, old-fashioned customer service.

Great parking, friendly staff and good breakfast. Room was modern and hotel very clean.

Just Perfect Place

The staff is helpful, the breakfast is good, the room is spacious when compared to Holiday Inn Express. However, there is no free parking

Carmen the receptionist took care of everything for us, showed great customer services skill including parking and other issues with the stay, even joining as a member of hotels

Check-in was good, staff were pleasant and the process was quick and efficient. The main issue was breakfast. It was extremely overcrowded with nowhere to sit, and the entire buffet was constantly running out of food, not just croissants and juice. Hot items, pastries, and other options were repeatedly empty, making it frustrating to get a proper breakfast. The area felt completely under-resourced for the number of guests being catered for. When a table finally became free, it was wiped down quickly but still left dirty, and the floor was also dirty. Overall, breakfast was very disappointing and let down an otherwise decent stay.

Staff amd location were great however we had a family room for 2 adults and 2 kids. The sofa bed for kids was awful. Far too small and only really for 2 kids under 10. The bed was also on an incline and sloped toward the end. You could also feel every spring below the mattress and dangerous with all the mechanism of the sofa bed exposed. Easy for fingers to be caught.worst hotel sleep I’ve ever had. Breakfast and staff were fabulous shame the room didn’t match

Great location for Bicester Village shopping

Breakfast on the Saturday was carnage due to the volume of guests all at the same time , but over all pretty good !

Staff were all lovely and incredibly helpful. I was checked in and served in the bar by a young man whose name I didn't get, but he said he was supporting from the Bedford hotel. He was super helpful despite not being 100% familiar with the hotel and did his best to answer my questions about parking etc.

Room was good size & clean, very comfortable beds

We had very good sleep at a big, clean and high standard room. Great location for shopping (about 15 mins walk to Bicester Village, outlet shops and garden centre). Breakfast options were good. We are repeat customers happy to come back. There’s one thing that could be improved, 15 mins before our check out time the house keeper knocked and opened our door while I was in the bathroom. I had hung the notice (We are still in sign) on the door and use the inside lock. I have spoken and mentioned it to the receptionist Daniel. He was so helpful. I hope the train their housekeeper better. But in overall, we are happy with this hotel and we will be back.

There was crumbs on the floor in the room
