Holiday Inn Reading South M4 Jct11, an IHG Hotel

Dette overnatning sted kvalitet højst svarer til 3 stjerne og ikke 4 stjerne hotel. På værelset manglede basale inventar og faciliteter, bl.a. saftig boks , wc brøst , engangs tøfler/sandaler ,som jeg nævnte i min første tilbagemelding efter min check ind. Rengøringen i værelset var slet ikke optimalt, og sengetøj blev ikke skiftet i hele opholdet, samt ofte der blev ikke sat håndklæder til 2 personer. Temperature i lobbyen og restauranten var altid lav og koldt hvor man var nød til at sidde med vinterjakke. Personale var god , venlig og imod kommende

This hotel is perfectly situated, just off the M4. Very clean and comfortable, with all the amenities expected in the room. There is a breakfast, but i didn't have time. Would definitely recommend, and look forward to staying again.

What I liked best about this property were the reception staff, both the person that checked us in and the person that checked us out were delightful. In particular the person checking us in was wonderful, we were having such a bad journey resulting in the hotel booking as an unplanned expense and she cheered me right up. Breakfast was pretty good too, plenty of options. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Not the best Holiday Inn we have stayed in, the room smelt damp on arrival, we could hear every footstep from the room above, the room was cold despite the heater being on. They provided one very small quilt for the sofa bed for my two children.

I did not appreciate the spotlights on the parkinglot outside my window. However, I can understand why they're there. Besides that, no complaints.

It was an amazing stay. I spent a night and feels homely.

The bedroom was spacious, although the bathroom could have done with another six inches to make it perfect. The staff were friendly and welcoming, We dinned on Saturday evening with family, and although there were two other events happening at the same time, we were well taken care of, and the food excellent. Sunday morning breakfast was a bit busy, which was to be expected, a heads-up would have been useful so that we could have eaten a little later after the coach parties had left. We had difficulties with booking parking at the same time as room, for cost reasons did not want the flexible option, so we had to wait for the day before to book both room and parking, this was annoying. Not sure if this was down to Expedia or the hotel, but it is something that should be fixed.

Disappointed on this trip - 2nd stay in 2 weeks - had to pay £10 for parking on top of room rate - also a service charge on drinks at bar! Depending on who checks you in vastly depends on experience- was hoping to stay longer in new year but looking elsewhere

Nice hotel and convenient just off M4, staff very friendly. Says rooms are soundproofed, they aren’t, judging by the sheer volume coming from the corridor, and not helped thank was on a corner. Decor in the room looking very tired.

If you're disabled and cant use a bath DON'T book an "accessible"room here

Ideal location for work trip. Friendly staff, great range at breakfast

Staff were very helpful and flexible and provided a great consistent service in all departments My only recommendation would be a refurb of the hotel rooms to bring it inline with the impressive lobby

Staff are brilliant,polite and smiley ,after a piss poor day, it made a world of difference to my mood.

We have stayed here several times on our way to Kent as usual the hotel and staff were excellent

We stayed at this hotel because it was part of our journey to the West Country. Delicious dinner and comfortable rooms.

After parking and walking all around the building in pouring rain, I tried to check in @ 20:30 to be greeted with the system is down so I cant check you in. I asked how long has the system been down to be told about an hour and no idea when it will be back up. She kept mentioning that its the same with other hotels to which my reply was I dont care about other hotels. I have had a long day and I just want to chill in my room and send off some e-mails. System eventually was back online but I wasnt told about this and by the time I went back to the counter there was a long que for about 20mins waiting. There was no priority into who was being served and the people who just came in got served ! Terrable attitude and customer service. I tried to to complain but was told becuase i booked through expida I have to go through that chanel.

Comfortable room and bed.
