Houseboat Hotels

Another excellent trip on the houseboat. Love this hotel - great location, fabulous accommodation. Why stay in a regular hotel when you can stay here!

Lovely experience. Ideally situated for the centre, quiet with lovely bars close by. Very clean, warm and spacious. There was a smell from the toilet but we accepted this may be the case on a boat and we did eventually get used to it and not notice it. Would we stay here again …. A resounding yes

A lovely boat with everything that was needed. Sadly though, there was a rancid smell coming from the toilet/bathroom which didnt dissipate and stunk the entire vessel out. This was such a shame as the beds were comfy and the facilities were excellent.

It was an amazing stay with everything we needed on the houseboat. Great accommodation in a lovely little area on Victoria Quays. It was a little breezy on Friday so the boat moved a little bit after that hardly any movement at all. Really clean boat that provided everything you needed and more. Would 100% recommend.

Brilliant place to stay in Sheffield. Won’t be staying in a traditional hotel ever again!!

Very nice all in all, easy to park, right outside, quiet and secluded area yet 5 mins walk into Sheffield. Enjoyed our stay. Just need to modernize the TVs, new mattresses and have onboard internet and it would be perfect.

Really relaxing and enjoyable stay. Close to city centre, whilst being remote enough to enjoy some piece and quiet. Wish we had booked for longer. Will definitely recommend and return again.

We loved this accommodation, it was a surprise to my partner and his face when he saw the boat, he was absolutely thrilled to bits, the location was also terrific it was in the centre of everything Sheffield has to offer and it was tranquil too, the best of both worlds! It was lovely and clean and fully equipped with more than a hotel room with obviously the option to cook if you wanted and its spacious, I could go on about how much we enjoyed it but I think it’s something that one should experience themselves and as far I we are concerned we’d love to stay there again and it’s highly recommended

It was a surprise for my girlfriend who had no idea where we were stopping but was really happy when we arrived in front of the houseboat Millie Grace. We were met by Mark who was really friendly and made us feel welcome. The house boat has everything needed for a comfortable stay and was kept up to a very high standard. I would certainly recommend anyone wanting a short stay in a normal hotel to consider houseboat hotels for something a little different.

I am 6'5" and thought I'd struggle but was comfortable on the boat. The facilities - heating, cooking equipment, TVs, beds, shower, hot water etc - were all in good working order. I will look to stay on houseboats every time now!

Great so much better than a hotel room

Excellent experience booked for my birthday, we were given really good instructions by the owner of where to find and access the boat. The boat was super clean and very spacious. Will definitely be booking again.

It's a small floating apartment. Very private and cosy. Directions are good and it's relatively easy to find (given the foibles of the Sheffield road system). Parking is also easy, just by the boat with a parking permit provided. It's also handy for the town centre (an easy but up-hill walk). If you don't want to prepare your own breakfast then the Victoira Junction Cafe is only a few yards away. The double bed is comfortable and cosy. We've now stayed four times and still find it nice for a night or two in Sheffield when we are passing through.

Absoulutely perfect. It was our 2 year anniversary and we had such a laugh! All cosy and everything you need, its like been at home but on a boat.. would definitely come again.

We cooked on board the boat but found the lighting poor in that area. A spot light would be most useful.

What a great alternative to a mundane stay in a large chain Hotel. Good location to peruse the sights, shops and bars of Sheffield City Centre. We stay in many varied types of S/C accomodation whilst travelling around the country for work and this would rate very highly and will defintely be the place to stay whilst in the area. Great place for work and pleasure.
