It’s a very old property with lots of character but they have made it very comfortable inside and you can ensure a great night rest. They have an Indian restaurant atached to it that you get discount in and the food in there is absolutely amazing would highly recommend

The staff were really nice here, they even responded to me late at night when I requested the wifi info.
The breakfast was great too, nice selection of pancakes and pastries, cereals etc, no hot food (I had to heat my pancakes in the microwave) but they still tasted delicious.
The room was quite big, and the property was old so I thought it would be cold at night, but I was pleasantly surprised, it was warm enough and the bed was also more comfortable than I expected.
It's about a 30min drive away from Bristol City Centre, and they had onsite parking which was handy.
Overall, a great stay for a night or two.

Nice room & building, shame about the lack of care & attention to detail!
Arrived to find the room not made up. Ali, a kitchen worker was apologetic & accommodating & said he would call house keeping back. We went off for 1 hour but returned earlier than anticipated as my partner wasn’t feeling well.
When we came to the room, the male worker, on his phone, had an unpleasant attitude, saying he needed another 10 minutes. We said ok, but we needed to use the bathroom urgently.
He proved thoughtless & careless - he failed to say he hadn’t dressed the bathroom, so no toilet paper! I brought our bags up & left him to it. After 20 mins he came down stairs & asked abruptly, almost shouting “what is going on?” When I asked what he meant, he said he had been waiting to get into the bathroom. I again explained my partner was ill & asked what he needed to do, to which he replied, clean the bathroom & hoover.
I said just to hoover & not worry.. he wasn’t happy & said it was unfair, to which point I noted it may not have been his fault it wasn’t made up in time (now 6.30pm!) but it certainly wasn’t ours & it should have been ready at 3pm! He failed to refresh the tea/coffee/milk etc & left his keys in the door and drove off in his taxi.
Stupidly, he had been waiting for my partner to come out & he couldn’t, because there was no toilet paper or towel to perhaps shower instead! Thoughtless!
He made the bed with a 10.5tog quilt in a heat wave!

Initial view of the property outside was not good. Poorly maintained and neglected front garden and driveway. We decided not to stay there and then. We had a quick look at the interior and decided it wasn’t up to expected standard.

Please be aware that this place was previously known as Langley Arms but is now an Indian/ Bangladeshi restaurant.
The room (premier) was very damp, mouldy, cold, and dated. Yes it’s a 2 star property, but no excuses for stained towels and bedsheets, pillows as thin as paper and no shower gel in BOTH holders.
Honestly for the price- don’t! If it was £40 then fine

The hotel needs a lot of attention. It is scruffy at best. My room was in dire need of redecoration, a thorough clean. The bed wasn't very comfortable and the shower in the bathroom needs a real good clean too. Breakfast was very basic - continental style only. All-in-all, a very disapointing stay.

Staff were brilliant but there was something going on with the pipes around the heated towel rail in the bathroom, lots of airlock noise which was disturbing.
Every 45 mins or so there was a very loud noise, which sounded like the kettle falling off the chest of draws, happened several times during the night which kept me awake.
Really don't know what this was but it was loud enough to make me jump.
