Friendly environment

Doors slam very loudly and wake you up in the middle of the night. Very hot and stuffy rooms, and the fan provided only works during the day and not overnight. Uncomfortable beds. Excellent breakfast. I just feel very sorry for the students that will be paying hundreds a month for this.

It's okay overall for its price in central London. However the breakfast wasn't that great with limited selection. The bed is squeaky and the shared shower room isn't really convenient to use at all.

A very central location near Oxford Street / Tottenham Court Road. Very friendly and helpful staff and excellent breakfast. The rooms are student rooms so basic but comfortable- very good value for money

Excellent location for central London

It is very convenient, location wise and the staff are very friendly. Very close to Covent Garden, Oxford Street, British Museum, National Gallery, Leicester Square, Soho & China Town. A good budget accommodation for a day or two. One thing to watch out though. I had read a review that you would be provided one small towel. It was true. I stayed for 2 days and I had one small towel for 2 days. Overall, I think it is a good place for a short visit.

Nice place to stay if travelling solo and convenient as short walk to underground station. Only issue is that I didn’t like that the shower was shared as I had to leave my room and get dressed in the small space before going back. The toilet was also in a separate room. Towels were provided and there’s a sink in the room which is great! Overall a good stay, but shared bathroom put me off.

Great location, shared toilet/bathroom was an issue (not clean, toiletries left in shower etc), breakfast was a nice surprise, staff friendly. Lifts were a pain!

Da curare maggiormente la pulizia dei bagni

Es ist ein Studentenwohnheim, dass in der vorlesungsfreien Zeit einige leere Räume zum Buchen freistellt. Der Standpunkt des Studentenwohnheims ist sehr zentral. Man kommt in unter zehn Minuten zum Covent Garden, zur Oxford Street und zum British Museum. Die Räume waren sauber. Im Preis war auch ein Frühstück inkludiert, welches ausgiebig genug war. Eine Besonderheit ist, dadurch dass die Unterkunft ein Studentenwohnheim ist trifft man auch auf Studenten, die hier wohnen und zum Teil auch auf Dozenten und Professoren. Mit einigen hatte ich beim Frühstück die Gelegenheit interessante Gespräche zu führen. Falls man also selbst Student oder Ähnliches ist, aber eher sein eigenes Zimmer haben will, bietet diese Unterkunft eine gute Gelegenheit immer noch andere Menschen gut kennenzulernen.

Vorrei segnalare alcune criticità riscontrate durante il nostro soggiorno in particolare, la pulizia delle camere non è risultata adeguata: abbiamo per esempio trovato, dietro ai letti, oggetti appartenenti evidentemente a ospiti precedenti, e la stanza stessa non era pulita in modo accurato, trovata molta polvere e capelli dietro ai letti. Inoltre, riteniamo insufficiente la fornitura di un solo asciugamano a persona per l'intero soggiorno. Anche le aree comuni apparivano non perfettamente pulite. D'altro canto, desideriamo sottolineare l'ampia varietà e la buona qualità della colazione, che abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato.

Fantastic budget option, great location, best continental breakfast I’ve seen in London, have seen places that charge twice as much be way stingier, options for everyone and really fresh fruit. Really nice it’s included in the price too. Cleaned to a high standard with towels provided, the only thing was that maintenance for a broken flush on the apartment toilet took a couple of days so had to use the main facility bathrooms while that was out.

LSE is student accomodation from mid September to mid July and is reasonable priced accomodation in central London in walking distance of all popular sites. Breakfast is plain with lots of fruit and choice of cereals, plenty of coffee and tea. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only down side for me was the single bed, very narrow and the mattress was too soft. I would stay there again.

This is bargain basement land. The room I had was large, the bed was creaky but I slept ok. Bathroom was ok clean, sink was far too small to wash your face in without spreading water everywhere, when you turned the tap on the pipes made an awful noise, the toilet leaked constantly so I had the delightful noise of that all night. There was only the one mirror in the bathroom so to dry my hair I had to prop the heavy bathroom door open with a bookcase to be able to be able to see what I was doing. Breakfast is only served from 8am, so way too late to take advantage of (and I think that is probably the whole idea, most people need to leave by 8). The windows are single glazed so you get a lot of noise from the road below. It's just about ok for the price but I would not stay here again. It's old, it's tired and doesn't provide much in the way of comfort.

Very convenient location for West end theatres. Plentiful and good breakfast options. Clean and comfortable bed.

Tiny room. Not as advertised. Broken toilet and refused to move us. Over heated. Staff didn’t care when we left next day. Told us to get money back from booking agent. Terrible.
