Excellent bar. Delicipus food and wide range. Bedroom very comfortable. We hope to return

This room was so much better than we expected from a bar hotel. The room was spotless, recently upgraded and modernized, and had tons of choices for coffee and tea. The staff was very nice and friendly. Parking was easy and very close to the door. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The food was fantastic, very nicely presented and good choices for all appetites. Wish I lived nearer, then I would be able to “eat “ my way through the menu .

Got in carpark and extra on road

Hotel was lovely. Room nice and clean and a lovely huge bathroom .

Room was great. Waterfall shower is very nice. Staff are very freindly and the food is good. Plenty of choice, never had a bad meal

I was expecting s slightly bigger room (Twin bed, rather than a single) but it was clean, tidy and even had a fridge. The window wouldn't open, but I gather that there is a rolling programme of improvements to this Listed Building and that my room "was on the list". Everything else seemed fine and the Continental Breakfast was better-than-average for a UK hotel.

there was only continental breakfast on offer. which was quite basic. was told there was an option of a cooked breakfast available at additional charge. however on the day this was not the case

Temperatura de la habitación: -50ºC. Para dormir en manga larga+sudadera + tapado hasta el cuello. Hacía muchísimo frío. Mal olor en los pasillos. Pasillos laberínticos, con malos olores. Moqueta que daba grima. El el baño no cabía de pie, y en la ducha, casi no puedes ni girarte de tan pequeña que es. Insonorización inexistente. En la recepción los pies se quedaban pegados al suelo. Desayuno muy escaso, muy poca variedad. Lo único aceptable, la comodida de la cama era buena. Sí, fue barato, pero por el servicio prestado, terminó resultando carísimo. Antes duermo en el coche.

Meeting with friemds

I hated the room in the eaves was near impossible to access the bathroom without hitting your head on the ceiling .i also felt if there was a fire we wouldn't be able to get out .we booked two nights but left the next morning. There were no other empty rooms .

Breakfast Serving area could be bigger to allow for people to line up in orderly fashion rather than pushing in.
