Sennen Cove Cottages

A wonderful apartment in a wonderful location. Great for early morning walks to the beach, and if you want to explore, most things are a short driving distance for hikes and other breathtaking nearby beaches. If you plan on being in this part of Cornwall, you should definitely book this home. Geoff & Jan are wonderful hosts.

Amazing location, amazing views, very pleasant, clean, complete and quiet!

This was our first experience staying in a self catering accommodation and it won’t be the last. We had everything needed to live comfortably. The view was amazing too. Jan came in to welcome us so gracefully on our first night and made us feel really welcome. The house was beautifully decorated and cozy, made us feel like we were home. Definitely recommend Sennen Cove Cottage Grassmead.

We stayed a week at Sennen Cottages. The owners are welcoming and friendly. There was a nice welcome pack on arrival which was very thoughtful. The place was very clean, light and airy with a modern look throughout. There was everything you could need in the kitchen to create a meal. There was no washing machine which was listed when we booked. This was a bit of an inconvenience as we had to go to a laundrette but we managed. The lounge area was comfortable and we appreciated a television in both the lounge and main bedroom. The bathroom was modern and reasonably spacious. Unfortunately the bed in the main bedroom squeaked with every movement and made it impossible to sleep it was also uncomfortable. I ended up sleeping in the bunk beds which were extremely comfortable. This places is perfect for a family with either preschool or primary aged children. The outside space is fully enclosed and would be an ideal space for children to play in safely. We did find lovely places to eat out but the main pub in Sennen Cove wasn’t great. There is a lovely farm shop with great produce and a Spar shop a short drive away. The walk to the beach is extremely steep. We managed it but probably wouldn’t take children down it. There are some lovely walks along the coast path. Internet was good. The beach is beautiful but there are strong rips. It does have a lifeguard and we found it was safer to swim at low tide.

Had a fantastic stay at sennen cove cottage 10 stars from me close to the beach clean accommodation good communication easy parking definitely will be returning in the future.

The location was lovely & the hosts were lovely and attentive.

Nice location, appreciated available amenities. Complained to owner upon arrival of smell emitting from water drains. Very unpleasant odors.

Restaurants close early at 8 pm. The only ones open late are the pubs which serve unpalatable food.

The apartment is lovely; immaculate, fully equipped and so homely. The hosts provided lovely touches that helped us feel welcome. Our 4 and 8 year old settled and adopted their room immediately. We all enjoyed the apartment, a great base for exploring the local area. We’ll be back!

Had a lovely stay in this beautiful accommodation - comfortable, clean and great location for all local amenities & walks, and fab for trail running, it’s a good location for surfing too. The owners were really friendly, & helpful Thank you for a fabulous holiday 😁👍

Felt very homely like being in a home away from. Equipped with everything required for the stay - Cutlery, microwave, washing up liquid. Had trouble working out heating controls and biggest issue was with the main door lock as had to push and pull to certain position to get it to lock but managed so all ok

We had a lovely stay & were happy with the property. It was so nice to be able to see the sea from the property. We called Geoff the owner when we arrived & he popped round to the property straight away to assist us.

My Son and I came down to Cornwall for a much needed break from the city and of course Covid. The weather forecast was a bit grumpy so we decided to book a cottage instead of camping, we are really glad we did. Sennen was lovely. We Had a stunning view of the coast a few hundred metres from our front door, Porthcurno, Lands End and some other stunning places we discovered were all within a few miles. If you are planning on doing your own cooking etc (which we weren't) my advice would be, stock up with supplies in a supermarket in Penzance on route, there aren't any of those types of establishments near where you're staying (another reason Sennen was beautiful).
