Had two nights in a family room whilst visiting York, which can be easily accessed by car in minutes. The ground-floor room was clean, spacious and very well appointed, with a large TV and a small but perfectly formed bathroom boasting an array of hand-wash, shower gel, shampoo and separate conditioner! Breakfast was excellent, though options for evening dining were limited. That said, we enjoyed a couple of lovely meals at the nearby Cross Keys pub, where it was possible to reserve a table. Would most definitely consider Stableside at York Races again if visiting York by car.

The room and bathroom were clean and had modern fit out. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The parking was straight forward and it’s a handy distance to visit the centre of York.

It was a bit noisey and my radiator which was turned off was knocking and woke me at 0500, which was frustrating.

Nice room , ok breakfast. Most of staff friendly.
Room 3 can hear all noise from reception and staff banging doors throughout night , auto light flashes on and off in corridors shines through bottom of door.
Around £10 in uber to town centre.
Would we stay again.. yes but would ask not to have room 3 even though it is a nice clean room. Just too much noise from reception

It was a last minute booking and everything was fabulous. Thank-you very much for accommodating us. We caught the bus to York the next day, which was very easy and had a great time at the Christmas markets. Would definately do it again.
