Jill was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcomed in our first ever B and B stay (we usually stay in hotels). The breakfast was very good, freshly cooked and made to order, a good variety on offer. The grounds well kept, beautiful lawn with many birds visiting the surrounding plants and feeders, the goats that enjoy left over toast are well worth a mention too. The shower is probably the best in any accommodation I've ever stayed in (nice and powerful). Very thoughtful having a mini fridge, fresh milk, little biscuits and a chocolate too. Good size clean rooms, quite a few towns within walking distance and within a short drive to most of the main attractions of the Cotswolds. It was better than a home away from home, and would strongly recommend Sunny Nest, if we ever come back to the Cotswolds this is where we will be staying. Thank you Jill!

I could not have dreamed up a better place to stay during my weekend getaway in the Cotswolds. I came in on the bus and it was super easy to find. I was very early and my room wasn’t quite ready but they let me leave my bags. The property is an absolute dream (the animals!!) and the house is gorgeous, clean and well appointed. It is a good 15 minute walk to the centre of BotW but it’s a lovely little walk through the outskirts of town and there are a million trails to explore nearby (I walked to the Slaughters and Stow on the Wold). Cannot recommend this place enough if you’re in the area!

The Sunny Nest is an ideal location for a short break in Bourton on the Water, with a short 10 minute walk into the centre of the village which has lots of restaurants, bars and attractions and which is in a beautiful setting, plus is a good base for visiting the surrounding areas.
Our room (number 4) was very spacious, clean and well presented and the breakfast was not only delicious (with lots of choice) but also very filling and we never felt the need to eat anything else during the day until dinner time.
The owners were very pleasant and helpful and were always on hand if we needed anything and parking was never an issue.

Very well appointed, good size room, breakfast offerings were flexable with modifications from basic menu accepted without hesitation.
I give very few 5 stars because perfect is hard to achieve. Sunny Nest managed to do so.

I much prefer the location just outside of Bourton-on-the-Water (less than a mile away) -- the town can be quite busy with tourists and almost impossible for parking, so being a short walk away made life much simpler. And as previously mentioned, the breakfast are varied and generous.

The location was perfect - just outside of Bourton but close enough to walk to every night. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was modern, with a soaking tub and shower. The breakfast was so good!
