Really quirky property which is definitely worth a visit. Good customer service, friendly staff and excellent food.

Very quirky decor which adds to the attractiveness. Rooms excellent. Food delicious though limited Sunday evening menu.

The room was cleaned everyday with fresh cookies next to the tean and coffee maker. The pub has certainly retained its old charm. Food was excellent. For someone from london paying less for beer was a welcome change

From the moment we walked in we had a warm welcome, expecially our dog. Lovely room, very comfortable and great dinner and breakfast. Our whole stay just felt special. Thank you for looking after us so well.

The bed was way too soft and the room was extremely noisy with the poor quality windows. The noise of the cars outside sounded as if they driving past the bottom of my bed. I had the worst nights sleep that I can remember because of this.

Great pub with unique rooms. Very welcoming staff and included breakfast was excellent with cooked options. We also ate in the restaurant and again the food was great. Lovely walk down to Bewl water from pub as well. Really enjoyed our stay.

The room we had was very noisy. Would request a quite room next time

Very quirky and full of character. All staff were lovely too. If you like walking along quiet lanes and in nature, there are plenty of routes around.

Fab one night stay in the love nest room . Our dog was made super welcome with a dog bed blanket and even a letter . Room was gorgeous pub and restaurant lovely staff really helpful and friendly

This was our 2nd overnight stay and taster menu as we were very impressed last year. This time we stayed in one of the lodges (Pretty Vacant) and it was delightful! Walking into the lodge it felt cosy and comfortable as soon as we were in the door. Lovely and spacious, extremely clean with everything you could want, large double bed, big two seater sofa, walk in shower and bath and also a private little terrace with fire pit. We had booked to have the 5 course taster menu again this year and it was as exceptional as last year! All the lovely little quirky additions make it all the more special and the food was Beautifully cooked and was really superb! The staff were all friendly, pleasant, helpful and efficient! The only thing I would say that let it down a little was breakfast! Weak tea, ice cubes in the fresh orange (which watered it down) and streaky bacon in the full English! (Minor issues when our overall stay was brilliant) We’ll definitely be back again

I've stayed here many times. Very relaxing in the garden and nice area for walking and hiking. Food is also generally good. Friendly staff. We will keep coming back. Improvements: - better coffee

Lovely place, great staff and food was delicious, very quirky with a really good feel about everything and was looked after wonderfully.

A super friendly welcome and a room upgrade would normally justify a 5* review, but unfortunately the pub failed to notify us that they were hosting a wedding party that evening. Loud music until 11.15 and then people singing/talking loudly until midnight. We were told that guests are usually informed when booking, but we must have slipped through the net because we made a late booking (2 days prior) and a new member of staff was on duty. I’d recommend checking before you book your stay.

A cosy characterful pub with friendly staff. Our room was spacious with doors to outside balcony with seating. The food was good although Sunday evening limited menu.

Great stay as always. Stayed in garden huts over Easter. Flower bulbs looked amazing and the stay was very peaceful. Worth it.

Nice stay overall staff excellent perhaps a few more vegetarian option on menu .

Had a lovely weekend at The Bell with my sister and our two dogs. This is my second stay with The Bell and I will definitely come again. The hotel loves and welcomes dogs which is great! We stayed in a lodge which was funky and comfortable and had a really good powerful shower! The hotel were great accommodating my sister who is a vegan by providing vegan brownies each day in the room and oat milk for tea and coffee. Overall a lovely, comfortable stay! Thank you.
