The Cavendale

A traditional seaside B&B with an equally traditional welcome from Richard and Sam, very nice full English breakfast and a brilliant location by the harbour and beach. Views over the harbour or beach (we had two rooms on the top floor for our family so had both!)

I liked the position of the property, close to beach and the harbour also the town and it's many shops.

Everything about the hotel was good, food service, cleanliness,views and staff, definitely coming back here

Slike møter gjør turen enda mer verdifull. Ja, jeg mener at gode møter med folk er det viktigste av alt. På forhånd leste vi om den gode frokosten på The Cavendale. Det stemte. Med utsikten mot stranda storkoste vi oss med toast og omelett, bacon og syltetøy, kaffe og eplejuice (ikke alt på en gang, altså). I den lille spisesalen satt andre gjester vi kom i prat med. Det ble nesten som en familiefrokost med noen av de samme folkene hver morgen. Sam og Richard er et funn for alle reisende, som skaper trygghet og glede på turen. The Cavendale anbefales på det varmeste. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake. (Og takk for tips om vinylbutikker, selv om det ble dyrt for meg).

Nice clean B&B. Comfortable beds. Tasty breakfast. The decor was nautical and holiday themed and put you in a good mood for the day. Beautiful view of the beach and the harbour. Easy to walk to shops and seafront. Beach was just across the road.

Experienced at providing the best for their clients, They work as a team to make your stay as comfortable and interesting as possible. Every corner is tucked and polished.

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend and definitely stay again. Perfect location. Very close to the beach, harbour and town. Fantastic sea view. Lovely room, clean, well decorated and good amenities. Hosts were friendly and welcoming and responsive. Breakfast was fabulous. Could not fault anything and can not wait to go back

Richard and Sam are great hosts! The room had a great view of the beach. The facilities are good and it's location is very convenient.

A wonderful stay, fantastic hosts, very clean and tidy. Breakfast was excellent, we couldn’t have asked for anything more, would highly recommend staying here, thank you, Samantha and Richard, we will definitely be back :)

The owners were exceptional, made you feel welcome nothing seemed to be to much trouble. Even enquired if I was ok once or twice
