The Chimes

I stayed at the Chimes for a few days as a solo traveller. Great location for walks around Flamborough and Bempton, and close to the town centre and harbour. Single room's bathroom is next door to the room, but not a problem. Good selection for breakfast to set you up for the day. Donna made everyone feel very welcome and was never without a smile and a kind word. Couple of notes. Limited parking at the front of the property, but plenty of on street parking close by. Single room faces road, so I slept with earplugs, but I am a light sleeper.

Stayed at the Chimes for 3 nights at a single room. Shower room was separate and just next to the room, for private use. The owner was very friendly and served a great breakfast. Fast check-in/check-out.

Yes, parked in front of the guest house. A lovely welcome witha cup of tea and cake. Wonderful breakfast.

Room was clean and well stocked. Breakfast was excellent. Had an issue with the telly but Donna couldn’t apologise enough when brought to her attention. Would highly recommend

Clean tidy room, nice and cosy, bedding clean, towels provided, bottles of water in the room along with tea, coffee etc. The host,Donna was lovely, nothing too much trouble for her. Easy check in. Breakfast was good, nice variety. We had a parking spot at the property. Easy walk in to town. Overall a lovely 2 day stay, will definitely be returning.

The friendliest place I've stayed. Host and guests are now old friends. The place is spotless and conveniently situated near everything. The breakfast is exceptional both in quality and portions. Loved my first stay looking forward to my second. *****

I had a nice stay at this lovely B&B. Donna, the owner, was warm and welcoming, and the whole place was immaculately clean and well cared for. Breakfast was excellent – a freshly cooked full English, proper coffee in a French press, and delicious yoghurt with fresh fruit. My single room was cosy, with a private bathroom just outside (reflected in the price), and there are plenty of en-suite options too. Wi-Fi was fast, the shower was piping hot with great pressure, and extra tea and coffee in the lobby was much appreciated – especially as a heavy tea drinker! Parking was easy with a free Zone A permit, though I managed to park right outside most of the time without any issues (September stay). Highly recommended – clean, comfortable, and run by a genuinely lovely host. I'd gladly stay again.

What more can I say read the description everything is as it says. The location is perfect could not be better placed train station is 5 mins walk away in one direction, New Town centre 5 mins in the other, 10 mins walk in each direction to North or South bay beach, the old town which I recommend highly to real ale lovers 25 minutes walk or 5 mins on bus. As for the accommodation I had top floor single room with separate shower/toilet room next door, everything worked perfectly and was clean as expected. The breakfast was superbly well cooked with plenty of choice to suit all tastes & set the day up nicely. A special mention must go to Landlady Donna, always happy to chat & greeting you with a cheerful demeanor & smile as well as catering for everyone at Breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. This will be my first choice in Brid, if I'm lucky enough to get in.

I've been holidaying all over the country for years and the chimes hotel in Bridlington is the best one I've stayed in and the breakfast was amazing if you u want a nice place to stay the Chimes is the place to be I'll be back in September that's for sure Ray
