We had a lovely couple of days away at the Durant Arms.everything was mainly positive, and it is a quaint old pub in a lovely quiet village.
However, for us the bed was extremely firm, which is a personal choice which we are not used to.
We enjoyed the food, except for the crust of the pie I had on the first night was rock haed.

We were pleasantly surprised that despite a lot going on in the pub below, we couldn't hear a thing in the bedroom. Lovely old building but modernised inside to a high level of comfort.
They do need more shelves in the bathroom though - not happy to have to put my toiletries on the floor.

Really nice room, recently refurbished. Everything was nice, particularly appreciated the controllable radiator having come from a place that was cold. Could've done with an extra pillow, only 1 provided each.
The pub was really top class in a pretty village centre and was a CAMRA winner with great range of ales and warm comforting food and log burners.

Sehr tolles Pub. Saubere und ruhige Unterkunft. Das Abendessen und das Frühstück waren wirklich sehr lecker. Ein Parkplatz war nicht wirklich frei als wir angekommen sind, da einige Personen im Pub vor Ort waren, aber man sich hier einfach hinstellen, da sagt keiner was, man findet seinen Platz.
Ich kann es nur empfehlen! Danke für die Gastfreundlichkeit.
