The Kingscliff Hotel

Very hospitable staff. Nice room and good position .

Had a lovely stay over the bank holiday weekend. The evening service from the waitress and two waiters were outstanding, and it was a pleasure to see a group of people who genuinely love their job and were happy. However, when booking breakfast for the last morning of our stay the girl at the desk was less than friendly and my partner said he felt he couldn't speak to her about things and she seemed annoyed. The hotel was clean, with a great atmosphere, and the live music was a welcome surprise. My partner slept great, however I did not due to being uncomfortable on the mattress and being able to hear guests coming and going from their rooms, I was pleasantly surprised to not be able to hear the music or crowds below. Overall a fantastic stay, very happy. Thank you.

Firstly, the food and staff are great! The afternoon tea is amazing! The room was nice and clean and spacious with everything you need. Sadly although we paid a premium to have a sea view room, which we did so no complaint there (room 22), was directly above the bar area which had a large speaker above the bar near the ceiling therefore just below our floor. The first night I had to get up gone midnight to ask that the music be turned down. Which was done. The following evening I confirmed with the bar staff that the music would go off when the bar closed 11.30 ISH and it did. The other up and down side was there was live music on the Friday and Saturday evening which was louder than the bar music, lovely to sit down there listening to but again if in room 22 so loud there's no chance of getting a Granny nap in before dinner. Perhaps the hotel should look into improving the sound proofing in room 22 in particular. If I return I'll be more likely to go for a cheaper room at the back of the hotel and forego the sea view as it looks like most of the sea view rooms are directly over the bar and restaurant area.

Lovely staff Easy to park car Bed a bit too hard for me but slept ok Breakfast was lovely with a good choice. Slight issue with bar floor area which I noticed once pointed out was dealt with as best as could, before maintenance can sort

Lovely hotel with everything you need onsite. Sea views from the room we stayed in were stunning .. will definitely be going back next time I’m in the area

Lovely hotel ideal for a walk along the beach. Room was spot on, parking plentiful and breakfast marvellous!

Nice and clean. Easy parking. Good access to the beach. Walls are quite thin. Could hear neighbour snoring!

Absolutely lovely stay from the outset.very warm, helpful and informative welcome at reception. Receptionist very kind and friendly. Lovely room, excellent bathroom, clean, well kept (congrats, Housekeeping!). Fan, ironing board, hair dryer - all there. Lovely pillows and linen. Cant fault it!

When I got to the room it was very cold. The bathroom hot. I had to return to reception to inform them of this as they have removed the room phones and this means they could not be notified nor give room service. I have limited mobility and as there was no lift I found the whole system difficult . When I was asked if I enjoyed my stay , the next morning, I told them what had happened and the receptionist implied that she thought I was being difficult and not at all sympathetic. I hope when she is older and less able she remembers and has regrets on how she treated her guests.

A very speedy change to an accessible room on arrival which was very spacious and quiet. For us, the overnight temperature was a bit too warm, and being on the ground floor didn't feel opening a window was a sensible option! But we managed!

OVERALL GOOD STAY.STAFF WERE BRILLIANT MEALS WERE GOOD BUT 121/2% GRATUITY A BIT STEEP. TV'S NEED AN UPGRADE AS WE COULDN'T GET BBC!!

It was friendly with good music and nice breakfast items and menu. The bed was comfy, but my disability wasn't catered for, so my partner had to carry mobility aid upstairs and downstairs, and I struggled a bit on stairs. It was inconvenient and staff were very much in good spirits.

We both enjoyed our first visit to the kingscliff hotel, we will definitely stay there again in the near future. We must say we were disappointed with the 12 percent sir charge on our evening meal.

Overnight stay for party nearby. Fabulous comfy room and lovely to wake up to view of sunrise on the horizon Lovely breakfast tooo

No Lift to First floor

Lovely hotel and lovely sea view from room but wouldn’t stay in the same room again as just above bar so constant music from 2pm and being autistic I found it difficult

Everything about the Hotel was good, only one small complaint was an excellent breakfast was spoilt by terrible quality of sausages, so. bland and didn’t taste like a Pork sausage, such a small thing which can so easily be put right. Wouldn’t put me off staying there in the future, just wouldn’t order sausages. ,!!!
