We booked a superior room. It was fine but I think we expected it to be a little bigger and to have bath and not just a shower room. However the room was spotless and the bed was comfy. Our evening meal was really excellent and good value.

Accommodation was super, dinner was excellent. Afternoon evening staff first class. Breakfast menu / choices of food leaves a lot to be desired for a hotel known for its excellent food. When in Britain one expects a choice of a cooked breakfast not a meager sausage or one slice of bacon sandwich. Several people at other tables mentioned the lack of a decent breakfast.

Although I enjoyed my stay, I was disappointed that the breakfast was not full English. What I had was ok. Overall I had a pleasant stay.
Will stay again, now I know what to expect.
