Great staff and very comfortable room. Food and breakfast were amazing

The room was lovely, very warm and cosy and the bed was extremely comfortable with quality bedding. Excellent service from the staff. Very friendly and welcoming. Excellent food, everything you could ask for, for a pleasurable stay.

Spacious clean room, lovely Gluten Free fish and chips, great breakfast, beautiful surroundings.

Camera carina e confortevole, personale molto disponibile e cordiale anche con i bambini. Il loro ristorante è eccezionale, è stata la nostra prima cena e anche la migliore di tutta la settimana di vacanza. Pulizia della stanza adeguata. L'unica cosa che mi sento di segnalare sono le, a mio avviso troppe, ragnatele nella stanza... Capisco che siamo in piena campagna ma per me erano davvero un pò troppe. Ragnatele a parte ci tornerei volentieri!

Check-in not particularly friendly. Had to walk through a very busy bar. The restaurant was ok. Food (burger, mostly cheese with a burger hiding inside! served with fries and corn on the cob. Cheeseboard was ok, very hard crackers so mind your teeth! A service charge of 10% was added on but not worth it. Staff are not very friendly. The room looked nice on entering. Sleeping well, the room was very cold as the heating wasn’t on. A very thin duvet and the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept in. Bathroom - bath very difficult to get into for a shower so be aware. Got chased outside after returning key, and was made to feel embarrassed as told Amex payment hadn’t gone through which through Hotels.com it usually does. Staff could have been more friendly as I was only a few steps away and happy to pay and did of course, with another card.

We (my two adult daughters and myself) just came back from a 12 night stay in the UK. We went to 9 hotels, and this was our favorite! It was so quiet and peaceful there with no outside noise. The setting was beautiful with lots of outside dining spaces. The rooms were nice and the staff was super sweet. Breakfast was amazing with large, cook to order options. We would definitely come back and stay again!

Very clean, great bedroom and bed sadly let down by the bathroom. Gap under door made it pointless being there and nowhere to put anything down, a tooth mug on wall would have helped. Overall good for short stays only. Breakfast and staff were superb.

Lots of good details and home made stuff. Bed good, shower amazing. Food was a highlight. The room (at the back) was not very soundproof - so could hear most of neighbours convos.

We stayed in the pod behind the pub. Great fun and very comfortable. Bed and breakfast in the pub and also had dinner. The staff were lovely and the food was amazing.

Picture-perfect, cozy, welcoming, with friendly staff, excellent breakfasts and great beers - we spent a lovely couple of days here. Nice touches like fresh milk for your room if you'd like to make your own coffee in the morning. And the village shop is right next door if you need anything.

Loved our stay so much we booked again!

My daughters and I stayed here for 2 nights and absolutely loved the property. It was so quiet and had a lovely country feel. The restaurant was excellent, some of the best food we had while we were in England. Our breakfast was included in the stay and it was also excellent. We have such fond memories of our stay. We would definitely stay here again!
