Great room

Room was nicely decorated and bed comfortable. However, the room was above a function room which was in use both nights and very noisy till midnight.

It was nice room and 20 min from notting hill!it was slight noisy as it was a party downstairs which finish midnight

Beautifully decorated room, staff were excellent and very welcoming. I will definitely stay again.

This place gets good reviews so hopefully we were just there on an off day. The building itself is a super cute typical english pub. Great bar, great restaurant with amazing specials. The staff was really nice too. Unfortunately, the state of the rooms and the hotel areas need a massive cleaning and update. Be aware that the hotel rooms are on the 3rd floor and there isn't an elevator so dragging your cases up 2 flights of narrow steep stairs is no fun. The carpet in the stairs is literally disgustingly dirty. The rooms are well appointed and look good, but upon entering they smelled of cigarette smoke, as the windows are open to the area below where everyone is sitting outside and smoking. I closed the windows and that helped, but the AC never did work properly, so until the smokers left it was pretty stuff. The carpet in the rooms is very odd, like a jute material, that would be impossible to clean, so that was pretty nasty. The bathroom and shower looked great, but the shower did not work properly and just dribbled out a sad stream of water that would stop every so often. I would say the place is cute but overall shabby. The worst part though is that both us and our friends staying in the next room woke up to disgusting bug bites all over our bodies. I can't think of anything else it would be but bed bugs, so when we got home we had to disinfect everything. Like I said, the pub and the restaurant downstairs are very good and worth a try.

Great spot for a quick night close to London.

I usually really enjoy the Princess Victoria. This time there was a birthday dance party under my room on a Sunday night, music stopped at 10 but there was noise from people outside, some fireworks, and cleanup until about 11. After that it was peaceful and the rest of the stay was good.

Perfect for what we needed for a nearby gig

To eat: Abu Zaad is right on the way to the tube stop and was the highlight of the location. Main Issues: check in was HOURS late - not even free drinks offered for the wait; one of us got locked in the bathroom - the manager/owner (number provided on card at arrival) did not work for either of us OR an employee who was there for the bar but unable to enter the hotel without permission from the manager/owner & we simply had to leave the door open while the bathroom was in use for the rest of the time Pros: staff super friendly, outdoor space is fantastic, kept very clean but the decorative piece above the bed was definitely VERY dusty but impossible to clean (just poor planning for interior designer)

Amazing rooms! Clean and quiet! This hotel was one of our most favorite parts of the trip we took

Die Fenster sind zugeschraubt. Also nicht zu öffnen. Die Klimaanlage soll wohl nicht benutzt werden. Fernbedienung ist versteckt und wurde nur nach Aufforderung hervor geholt. Zimmer sehen nicht mehr so aus wie auf den Bildern.

L’hôtel est proche des transports, le restaurant propose des plats copieux et une grande variété de boissons. L’équipe est sympathique et souriante, les chambres sont spacieuses (BRONX pour nous), nous recommanderons sans problème cet établissement. Mention spéciale pour les margaritas qui ont été très appréciées par Mme.

Rooms were nice. Generally clean, few areas needed improvement but didn’t affect our stay. Slept well, beds comfy and nice quality linen. Quieter than I was expecting as we are above a pub, no noise at all. Good range of toiletries, tv and fridge which was a bonus. Would stay again.

Very nice room, in a great pub.

Arrival was awkward with pub closed to public due to a wake. Travelled 4 hours and we couldnt get a drink in the bar or at least a complimentary drink. Advised no breakfast in mornings during our stay. No communication from the hotel regarding the pub closure. Walking through the pub was really awkward. Room was really dirty, build up of dust visibly throughout the room and coffee machine was filthy. Cups and glasses not cleaned properly with coffee stains and dust all over the unit. Screws and washers on the floor fallen from tv bracket as stepped on. The showers ran ice cold no hot water on Saturday evening or Sunday monring, we didnt shower for two days upon arrival. I have never written a review but i felt like i had too. Our stay was terrible, the worst we have ever been too.

This property was conviently located in the Shepherd's Bush area - lovely - quite diverse community. We stayed in the hotel and had a couple of meals in the restaurant/pub. The staff were fun and really cared about how our stay was. Wendy, the room attendant, was terrific! She helped us ensure our experience was nothing but the best. The Nespresso coffee pods, provided milk, tea and very cool sugar gave our mornings the punch they needed! I look forward to staying here in the near future!

We had a wonderful 10 day stay at the Princess Victoria. The staff from minute one to the end were nothing short of attentive and hospitable. The meals were excellent in the pub and the deals were something to take advantage of. As this was our “base” in London, the easy walk (or even bus ride) to shepherd’s bush and then literally anywhere provided us with what we needed. While we were here for our daughter’s wedding, we did get in some local football, niche restaurants, and intriguing museums. Can’t say enough good things.

Hotel charmant et basique. Restauration sur place a partir de 11h00. Pas de breakfast possible.
