An excellent and varied breakfast menu was offered every day. The staff were kind and courteous. It was a lovely place to stay.

Great location for walking and seeing Skipton town center.

The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Not too far to walk to the town hall where we were watching a show. The service we received was great but the breakfast was disappointing.

The breakfast is amazing and staff are so friendly. (Although breakfast being served slightly later would be great at weekends)

Very friendly staff. Excellent food- thank you chefs. Comfy clean room. Friendly atmosphere. Convenient for shops, train station and buses. We were above the bar but didn't really hear any noise. (The bar closed 10pm at the latest) Road works had just started on the street but as we were out during the day it didn't affect us. Always managed to get a parking slot on the street. If we were to suggest improvements it would be to have a couple of shelves in the bathroom and a light above the bathroom mirror. We would certainly recommend this lovely little pub. Great bed, extra pillows. Good breakfast, wish it was longer. They were pretty busy so I didn’t feel right bothering them for the WiFi password, maybe they should put it in the rooms?

Nice place to stay for a couple of nights with easy access to the town. Really friendly staff and very clean. Breakfast was excellent.

Nice comfortable stay, good breakfast, great hosts, street a little noisy at times but still got a good sleep.

Lovely pub with great ales and food. Room was spacious but hot. Fan was supplied but I don’t like the noise. Great spot for town. Nice breakfast.

Good location for skipton centre, canal towpath at the end of the street. We enjoyed a drink in the bar, all the staff were very friendly especially the breakfast chef.

Pub with rooms in a good location if travelling by bus, short walk from bus station. Friendly staff, good breakfast choice. Room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Bathroom small with modern facilities. Access to rooms via stairwell, no lift.

A good down to earth friendly place to stay. Food is very good.

This is a hidden gem.Nor right in the centre of Skipton but only a few minutes walk.Lovly welcome on arrival.Quick and efficient check-in.Very secure accomodation as you needed a key to enter in the evenings A lovely lady took us to the room.Absolutley spotless.Tea and coffee making facilities and nice biscuits!!One of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in and the cleanest most well ironed sheets I've ever seen.When we went down to breakfast we were greeted and offered tea or coffee. A nice continental selection and a menu to.orxer hot food.I had an omelette and my husband had the full English.Piping hot and fresh.So.much nicer than a big hotel where food is left out.If your staying in Skipton don't miss this little hidden gem.Very wellmanaged establishment .Lovely staff that management should be very proud of.Happy staff happy team.

Had a lovely stay, the staff were fantastic. I'm not sure the ladies name but she made me feel very welcome. Also Dave at breakfast was amazing, very friendly and helpful. The staff definitely made the stay worthwhile.

Good location, close to centre, all day parking on the street next to The Railway, good beer, nice choice of food, well cooked, welcoming host, popular with walkers & cyclists
