Fantastic pub in beautiful countryside. The rooms were tastefully decorated to a high standard with lovely toiletries and tea/cofee facilities. The bar and restaurant had a relaxed, cosy vibe, well decorated and delicious food. And friendly staff

I've stayed at the White Horse on several occasions when working in the area. It is always a great experience. The staff are great the rooms beautiful and the food is fantastic.

Beautiful clean room, comfortable pillows and bed (I didn’t want to get out of!). Staff very friendly, amazing beef pie and lovely atmosphere for working away in my own.

We have no complaints at all. Everything was perfect.

The inn was fantastic. The reception front of house staff were extremely friendly and kind. They offered us a hot drink on a rainy miserable evening on arrival. They also sorted us out with a drink to go on our departure to London. Everything from checking in to checkout was top class.

We stayed at the white Horse last weekend ( bank holiday ) for 2 nights and enjoyed every second . Our Room was Badger - beautiful , loved attention to detail - gorgeous white line , cookies , water - very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely .Dinner on 2nd night was great - sadly they had run out of a few things on the menu but enjoed what we chose . Staff very friendly and helpful . Would recommend 100%

Excellent stay, high spec rooms with great customer service throughout our stay

After a day on the beach we were so pleased to arrive at this gorgeous gastro pub with rooms. Beautiful, and comfortable rooms with lovely style and welcoming touches, and our dog was welcomed happily and given her own bed and there was even a dog shower area outside. Dinner outside was delicious and a great breakfast menu too, traditional and healthy options also. Thoroughly recommend and hope to come back.

We had a great time. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable.

A lovely place overall. My room was very comfortable and It had everything I needed. (the photos don't do ut justice) There were lots of small touches that were thoughtful. The staff were friendly and very professional. A few negatives: It is by a very busy road so okay if you need to be up early! The outdoor seats and tables could be kept cleaner. There was a rat on it's way to the kitchen bins when I sat outside in the evening and the pub toilets seem much loved by flies. completely understand its in a rural location but... An earlier breakfast would be really helpful for business travellers. Unfortunately for this reason I will probably need to book elsewhere next time (They do offer 'breakfast on the go' as an option). The food looked lovely but were beyond my budget with a top price of £110 for the chefs special. Lots to recommend this venue but a few things to consider.

Lovely pub, immaculate inside, room was very well equipped.

We stayed over for one night and wished we had booked for longer. The rooms were well laid out, clean and very comfortable. The staff we welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was excellent. We will definitely be going back ,hopefully in the not to distant future.
