Warren Lodge Hotel

Squashed bugs on walls/tiles of bathroom and bedroom, toilet barely flushed, even after issue was mentioned, insects in room every day despite keeping windows shut all week. Wouldn't stay again, though lovely area !!!!!

No hot water the entire stay Blinds and curtains were falling apart. Nice potential but needs some maintenance .

The hotel is a lovely spot on the river just a few minutes walk into town. Lots of free parking. My room was big, clean with a nice river view. Quite dated but clean with everything you need. The continental breakfast was lacking (no cheese, meats or fruit) and I had no hot water for a shower in the morning .

Room was noisy,hotel could do with a bit of updating

Very tired and unloved hotel. It could be beautiful. The room was clean, but numerous cracked floor titles, dirty walls, a hair drier out of the 70’s! Reception, hall ways thread bare carpets, just pretty gloomy. I wish I had a magic wand to transform it!

Facilities were quite old

My room was awful. It smelt like a home. The blinds in the bathroom didn’t close. The toilet stopped flushing in the morning. No door chain on my door and the kettle wouldn’t stop boiling and when the water was pores out it was white. I paid £31 per person through Expedia for breakfast but if I paid through the hotel itself I would have saved £16. I’m so disappointed

Very poorly maintained inside and out. Staff non existent. 10 min walk to train station if wanted london. Location handy for my needs.on the plus side the view of the river is stunning especially when the sun is out

This hotel is in such a picturesque area and I always love staying here. The staff are lovely, friendly and go out of their way to look after the guests. The Warren Lodge is a gem. Don’t overlook it! ❤️

Lovely view . Staff was friendly Only downside was patio door was very hard to open , room was very warm and no fan or air con , could hear everything the people in the next room was saying and doing

I picked this property as I was collecting someone from Heathrow and it was a good price. Room was clean. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Nice quiet location with the high street 5 minutes walk away containing all the facilities you’d need. As others have commented, the property could do with some updating but it served my purpose for this visit.

Beautiful surroundings but unfortunately the hotel itself is in need of an update. Bed was comfortable but the shower was terrible. Although I work in the area regularly and the scenery is stunning I would be reluctant to stay at this hotel again. It’s a shame.

Don't stay here. Tired hotel. Rude staff. Few staff if you can find them. Tea in room turned into a brown sludge when milk added. No a very nice experience this time. Stayed over the years but now will defo avoid. Terrace smoking comes in through room windows and stays.

Had a great stay nice place nice hotel

Traditional hotel in lovely area next to Thames. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was comfortable and clean.Breakfast was good. An enjoyable one nights stay.

I'll start by saying I did not stay here. For some reason, upon booking, when I selected 'dog friendly' this option came up. In the comments I noted that I was bringing a dog so asked a room away from noises etc. I booked after 10pm on 29th June for a stay on 21st July ie over 3wks later. The following afternoon the hotel sent a message saying that they do not allow dogs so I would not be able to check-in with a dog. I therefore explained that I wasn't sure how the search had shown their property and requested a cancellation. They advised me to contact Expedia as they'd charged my card but also said that they would have refunded if cancelled the same day (how could that have been possible when I wasn't aware of your pet policy and you didn't contact me until the next day? - it was still within 24hrs!) After a lot of emails back and forth, even explaining that I had a lot going on, my husband had recently been involved in a serious accident and 11 days in hospital, the owner still refused to refund - I had also paid for 2 breakfasts which we were obviously not having - they even refused to refund those! With 3 weeks notice requesting cancellation they could obviously have rebooked the room (which they probably did anyway). Appauling customer service, no compassion, no sympathy, just greedy!

Bed a bit uncomfortable

The room was massive, it was clean but the hotel is very dated, needs a refurbishment its in a good area !¡
