The Hilton in Addis Ababa is one of the oldest hotels in Addis so some of the fixtures are dated but the staff were extremely kind (airport shuttle driver, clerk at check in, front of the restaurant staff (for breakfast)) - all just extremely nice. My check in process was smooth and the view was great. Finally, there was live music on the Sunday night which was really nice.

I have been traveling to Ethiopia the last 15 years and every time I stayed at the Hilton The most secured , friendly staff and excellent staff I will strongly recommend them with no hesitation.

It seems that the room hasn’t been remodeled since built in the 1970s. The reason why shower, sink and toilet were not working properly. Requested toiletries were not delivered, even when requested for the second time.

Didn’t have a pleasant experience here. Everything is outdated. Food wasn’t good. Plus the shower handles and curtains holders are rusted and extremely old. Seen some mold in the shower as well. It doesn’t look like the place is very well kept.

Arrived to find the room that we had reserved wasn't ready or had been given to someone else it wasn't clear. We were told our new room would have a view of the pool - it did not we looked onto a building site. Then our door wouldn't open and it took 90 minutes to fix. We were given a bowl of fruit and a bottle of Ethiopian wine as an apology.

We enjoyed our one-night stay at Hilton. However, when we came back from dinner, the hot water had surprisingly been running by full force and the bathroom totally flooded. Luckily we came in time before the whole room was full of water. A mechanic fixed the sink, but it took time before someone came to removethe water. However, after a couple of hours they provided us with a new room and late check out as compensation. That was great! The breakfast was very good, as the bowls in the restaurant.

The grounds are beautiful but i didn't like the fact that the rooms are old and dated and the bathrooms were just nasty. I had to upgrade to the duplex and even that had problems

The staff was incredible! They were super nice, attentive, and knowledgeable. The bedding, towels, and hotel location were also excellent. There are many amenities, but they were a bit dated and could be cleaner. Would highly recommend avoiding the food at the hotel.

Enkel de lobby/bar hebben een upgrade gehad. Kamer was zeer verouderd met een balkondeur die niet goed sloot en een badkamer waar overal vlekken zaten, zeer verouderd bad/douche. Mijn inziens een overpriced hotel dat de kwaliteit niet levert. Personeel was grotendeels vriendelijk. Echter meermaals gehad dat er na schoonmaken geen handdoekken aanwezig waren. De 24/7 roomservice neemt na 24:00 niet op. Zwembad was groot en schoon. Fijne handdoekenserive. Overall zou ik het niet aanraden.
