The property is truly unique and special. Staff are very friendly and helpful, Location is great- easy to explore and walk around Beaugency. Food is superb, both breakfast and Dinner. The basin tap temperature control was odd. It started off cold then quickly turned to hot no matter which direction you turned the lever. A minor issue but otherwise highly recommended.

The building itself has been turned into a hotel functionally but in keeping with the history of the building. The staff were really friendly and helpful, offering to help. The rooms were clean and comfortable with plenty of space for a large family. The hotel setting is very pretty and we enjoyed our stay.

Le restaurant: La viande est beaucoup beaucoup trop salé!!! Et le dessert avec des pommes étaient vraiment brûlées en feu… Pas bien pour la santé et dégoûtant… dommage!

Très belle découverte !
Bâtiment magnifique, grande chambre confortable, dîner avec vue sur la Loire, viande rôtie dans la cheminée à l'ancienne, personnel très agréable, étape parfaite merci.
Bravo pour la restauration du bâtiment.

The hotel building is full of character in a lovely location by the river. Very close to the pretty town centre. Breakfast was good with many local products. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant with its historic rotisserie. Staff were very friendly.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

It was interesting to stay at a very old monastery. There was no air conditioning, but the building itself was lovely. We had a view of the river. A nice, easy walk to the village and plenty of options for eating and shopping.
