We had an excellent stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff is amazing. Good selection of breakfast foods. We had fantastic macaroons upon arrival. Cool small terrace view out the window. Also, it’s a two minute walk to the Arc De Triomphe. The only con is the teeny tiny elevator. But I’d absolutely stay here again. We had an excellent visit!

Payed extra for an upgraded room and got a regular room without any windows. The room was not clean and had a smell. After requesting a change ,they did exchange my room in the following day. The other room had a street view but overall it was not what I expected for a 4 star hotel and price you pay-ie.old furniture ,tarnished and it smelled of old ..

First, the property is excellent located with nearby Arc de Triomph, metro station and dinning options, market and overall accessibility. The training of the staff was mediocre at the best, with contradictory information on the same subject. When we booked we were told we had some benefits, which the hotel was not aware of, we had to fight almost every day for them. Most disappointing was the elevator, so small and slow and uncomfortable.

This property is very close to attraction's, The rooms are on small size , not all rooms have Bath Robes, Breakfast the selections was good the letdown was we had to ask for cutlery every time we needed them ,also breakfast plates was a small side plate no plates to put your Toast on again we had to keep asking for everything like Tea cups and cutlerys ,small dining area , Should consider making free water available for in room for the Guest and not charging guests €3 for small can of water, The Coffee is spot on, Bed is comfortable , Rooms are spotless clean.

We enjoyed our last minute stay at the Hotel Balmoral. Morning breakfast was good. We walked and/or Lime biked all around Paris. Hotel Balmoral is in a good location to do all these things. Room was small but air conditioned. It had everything we needed after a full day of sight seeing.

This is a 3 star, on its best day. A great location but not a great property, with a man at the Front Desk who scoffs at you if you don’t bring your key with you at check out and if you can’t remember what you took from mini bar (isn’t that their job?). Dont pay for a double room if you’d like the extra space. We got two tiny rooms with no seating area for $1200 while our friends spent $600 and had a generous seating area and spacious room.

We booked a double room, for $1200/night, for the extra space, and got two tiny rooms next to each other with no balconies, and no seating area, while our friends booked a single room for half the price and had a balcony and generous seating area. The continental breakfast was more than lacking, the mini bar was worse, and the elevator fits one person and two suitcases, or two people and one suitcase, unless you choose to walk up (in our case) five sets of spiral stairs to your room. Additionally, we asked for assistance calling a taxi to the airport and the front desk told us we should have arranged the night before. As we began arranging one ourselves (which ended up being 3 minutes away), they asked for our room key which we’d left upstairs, and then seemed annoyed we couldn’t tell them exactly what we took from the mini bar before leaving (even though they have our credit card for incidentals). I’m not used to checking out and returning the key as well as listing what I pulled from the mini bar. Overall, a very disappointing property and experience.
