SOWELL HÔTELS Les Chevaliers

We were very pleased with having a balcony and a good view of the fortress. This was our second time at Les Chevaliers and one of the reasons we returned was because of the breakfast. The selections were so varied and delicious it was hard to stop eating.

Das Hotel ist eher ein 3-Sterne Hotel und das Personal lässt schon einiges zu wünschen übrig. Die Einrichtung des Hotels ist eher sehr altmodisch und ein überdenken und Grundrenovation der Infrastruktur würde für ein Hotel an dieser ausgezeichneten Lage bestimmt sehr gut tun. Im Restaurant sollte die Karte wirklich in Frage gestellt werden. Kein Salat auf der Karte. Eine Suppe (Karotten und Kartoffeln im Mixer mit Crouton serviert), nicht sehr kreativ, Nur 6 Hauptgänge zur Auswahl. Wenn in einem 4-Sterne Hotel diese Art von Gastronomie zum Standard wird, dann sollte man den Mut aufbringen den Betrieb auf Bed & Breakfast umzustellen. Das Restaurant wurde an diesem Abend von ca. 30 Gästen besucht und 2 Kellnerinnen und eine Praktikantin versuchten diesen „Ansturm“ zu bewältigen. Die Nachfrage wäre da und der Preis ist absolut sekundär, aber bei dieser Auswahl ist entweder der Chefkoch überfordert, oder das Hotel Management völlig überfordert. Übrigens war die Direktion zu keinem Moment des Aufenthalt sichtbar. Wohl deshalb waren die Mitarbeiter auch nicht besonders motiviert, weder an der Rezeption, aber sicherlich nicht in der Gastronomie…. Schade, es wäre wirklich nicht schwer dies zu beheben und etwas mehr Interesse vorzuleben….

Très bel établissement Accueil sympathique à l’arrivée et chambre spacieuse avec une vue incroyable. Le petit déjeuner est varié, il y en a pour tous les goûts.

Excellent séjour, les chambres sont vraiment sympas, l'accueil l'est également, et je regrette de ne pas avoir eu le temps de tester le restaurant qui semble proposer un très bon menu à prix raisonnable. Je reviens sans hésiter.

Escasa iluminación en entorno y en restautante. Servicio muy lento

Chambre propre, personnel sympathique et serviable et très à l'écoute ( bagagerie pour la valise ).

The staff were amazing. Moktar was friendly and charming. He made us feel like family. And manager Caesar was wonderful.

Very close to the fortified city

Great view of medieval city. Our door to the patio would not close and lock unless you slammed it really really hard, and the safe battery was too low for the safe to work so we couldn’t open the safe after we locked it. The reception guy offered us his master key. We only stayed one night so we said it was fine the safe didn’t work. Weird thing was there was no room phone so we had to go down to reception to report the problem.

la chambre accueillante...VMC salle de bain beaucoup trop bruyante. repas du soir: parfait , excellent! stationnement minute pas suffisant... je n étais pas prévenue que l'hôtel n'avait pas de parking ( j'ai fait 3 fois le tour du quartier) ....

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The bathroom came with a tub. Bathroom was spacious. The water pressure was amazing. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel has an amazing view of the citadel. We did not have a room with a view but many rooms have full view of the citadel. The only minor issue was the room was a little too tight with not much room for our luggage. We recommend this hotel.
