We came to Crete, Greece for a wedding of close friends. We chose this hotel to be away from the wedding chaos and hustle and stay somewhere quiet and a bit out of the way. This location exceeded our expectations and then some! The food, the staff, the chill atmosphere was exactly what we needed. Thank you to all the staff for being so kind and attentive, we will coming back for sure!

The pools were great (both the swim up one for my room and the shared pool). The all-inclusive package was worthwhile and food and drinks were very nice. The hotel is great if you plan to stay at the resort - but there isn’t much to do nearby. I had a very expensive massage and it was terrible - zero pressure and didn’t go for the full time. They then force you to complete a feedback survey whilst two of them stand next to you, it was very awkward. Some of the staff were lovely, but many were quite unfriendly or borderline rude.

Fantastic resort, wonderfull very friendly staff, great access to the beach and pool, the breakfast/lunch/dinner staff are lovely. We also used the gym. Rooms are spacious and have all necessary facilities. Great roomservice also.

Very good Hotel. Great all inclusive. The staff is very nice and helpful. The food is really good. In the buffet but also in the Restaurant. There could be some more warm dishes at the Dinner buffet for Vegetarian/Vegan options. We will definitely come back

The food every day has been varied and delicious, the beach, the pool, the cocktails are all fabulous! You do need a car or motorbike to get around, but I would expect that staying anywhere on the island if you want to explore. A holiday in paradise, would highly recommend!

Peu de choix ((pas de grille pain) Cet hôtel mérite 3 étoiles tout au plus et pratique des prix exorbitants (chips 40 g:7 euros) Il serait bon qu’hôtels.com vérifie mieux ses infos et s’assure que des clients sont traités correctement et que la prestation correspond au prix payé Pour ce qui nous concerne on passe chez la concurrence

Pros / overall experience : A very warm, welcoming and accommodating team running the place under George; spacious and clean rooms with very comfortable bed; generous and varied breakfast buffet and good food and drinks available throughout the day . Location works well if you have a car and want to use the hotel as a base to explore - right between chania and the west coast where there are some incredible turqouise water beaches. Some short hikes to monasteries / caves and wineries in the interior are also accessible so you can appreciate the mountainous scenery. Many guests also stay at the hotel all day and enjoy the pool and bar facilities , in which case would probably recommend upgrading to a room with a private plunge pool and lounger. Con - wouldn’t go there for the beach in front - it’s nice for the view from the hotel but there are much better beaches within an hours drive that are worth making the effort to go to. Area around the hotel at night can feel a bit desolate (at least in late September) so wouldn’t necessarily recommend venturing too far on foot for dinner .

We had the most amazing stay at Asterion!! From we set foot at the hotel the staff was friendly, helpful and sweet. We were always met with smiles and everyone was happy to help with our questions. There is a sense of family but also professionalism within the staff that makes it a really special environment to be in. The rooms are big, clean and stylish and the grounds are beautifully well kept and feel very luxurious. The beach and the pool make for an enjoyable stay where you can really just relax. A special thank you to George!!! Thank you for beach dinner which made our honeymoon even more enjoyable and unforgettable. It was more than we could have asked for Would recommend this stay to everyone I know. 10/10 and we hope to be back :)

Food was very good. Service and friendliness of staff was fine, and they let us checkout late without extra charge which was excellent. The only real downsides is the area around is very underdeveloped - more like a construction site, or waiting to be one. Also note although it says "designed for adults" there were quite a lot of children, albeit well behaved, fortunately.

Pros / overall experience : A very warm, welcoming and accommodating team running the place under George; spacious and clean rooms with very comfortable bed; generous and varied breakfast buffet and good food and drinks available throughout the day . Location works well if you have a car and want to use the hotel as a base to explore - right between chania and the west coast where there are some incredible turqouise water beaches. Some short hikes to monasteries / caves and wineries in the interior are also accessible so you can appreciate the mountainous scenery. Many guests also stay at the hotel all day and enjoy the pool and bar facilities , in which case would probably recommend upgrading to a room with a private plunge pool and lounger. Con - wouldn’t go there for the beach in front - it’s nice for the view from the hotel but there are much better beaches within an hours drive that are worth making the effort to go to. Area around the hotel at night can feel a bit desolate (at least in late September) so wouldn’t necessarily recommend venturing too far on foot for dinner .

We had the most amazing stay at Asterion!! From we set foot at the hotel the staff was friendly, helpful and sweet. We were always met with smiles and everyone was happy to help with our questions. There is a sense of family but also professionalism within the staff that makes it a really special environment to be in. The rooms are big, clean and stylish and the grounds are beautifully well kept and feel very luxurious. The beach and the pool make for an enjoyable stay where you can really just relax. A special thank you to George!!! Thank you for beach dinner which made our honeymoon even more enjoyable and unforgettable. It was more than we could have asked for Would recommend this stay to everyone I know. 10/10 and we hope to be back :)

Food was very good. Service and friendliness of staff was fine, and they let us checkout late without extra charge which was excellent. The only real downsides is the area around is very underdeveloped - more like a construction site, or waiting to be one. Also note although it says "designed for adults" there were quite a lot of children, albeit well behaved, fortunately.
