We had a quick one night stay here and it was excellent. A boutique hotel in a perfect location for exploring Athens. Our room was spacious and had a nice sized balcony. The breakfast on the top floor has a great view of the Acropolis. Breakfast was fantastic with many à la carte options to choose from, included with your stay. I would highly recommend this hotel!

The service was impeccable!
The room was perfect! We are a family of four and we all stayed in one room with 2 bathrooms.
The rooftop restaurant was spectacular with an amazing view of the acropolis!
We arranged transfers using the hotel from the airport and cruise port. Very professional and convenient. We also arranged a tour of the acropolis with a guide (including headsets). Our guide Eva was amazing!!! So knowledgeable, I wanted to take notes! The location was fantastic. Literally a 5 min walk to the acropolis entrance. Just outside the hotel, there are numerous shops with beautiful dresses and souvenirs and so many restaurants! Would stay here again next time we are in Athens!

We travelled as a family with 2 young kids, 4 and 7, and booked the executive suite. We chose this hotel mainly because it was close to the Acropolis. It was a 5 min walk to the entrance of the acropolis and about a 15 min walk to Syntagma square.
The hotel was very well maintained, clean, and our room was more than enough space for 4 people. They converted the sofa into a bed, and there was second bathroom, which was great for our kids as the sink was lower.
The only downside was a set of stairs, maybe 5 steps, from the lobby level to the elevator. but the staff helped with the luggage and stroller

Overall a good hotel; Fantastic location; Amazing breakfast; Friendly and helpful personnel; The walls of our room were a bit thin, so it was a bit noisy. Also the air condition outside the room was a bit loud; The gym is called Fitness Corner which it is. A small room with not much space and two cardio machines.

Expensive hotel. Excellent location for visiting the Acropolis Museum and Acropolis Slopes and Placa. Very very busy streets around hotel. Lovely breakfast in rooftop restaurant. Bathroom only issue. No place to put toiletries or hang towels.

Athens Was hotel is a perfectly situated boutique hotel. It lies within the Plaka district of Athens.
It has very accommodating and knowledgeable staff. The staff were more than friendly and eager to help whenever they could. The rooms were modern and well appointed. As a bonus, the view from the breakfast room was spectacular. As we had an unimpeded view of the Acropolis. The small details were not overlooked at this hotel.
The Senses restaurant, located in Athens Was, is magnificent. It is as if you are eating delicious art.
