We loved everything about the hotel and the stay - staff in particular were absolutely wonderful, gorgeous pool and rooms were lovely. Only thing we hadn’t realised was just how close it was to the airport with planes flying right overhead. That said there were not many planes at all, maybe 7 or so a day so it wasn’t a problem.

I don't want to say any bad things because the staff was so friendly and helpful, we wish we had such staff in any hotel we went, but surrounding was so boring with no vibe at all, very poor beach and no windows that could cope with airport noise

This property is amazing. Other reviews mention the proximity to the airport and that is true however that should not be a deterrent to staying at this amazing property. The rooms are beautiful, the view is beautiful, the staff are so accommodating and welcoming and friendly. I would love to have an opportunity to return to this property again one day!

the hotel is lovely. i like it that it has small number of guests, so it make it more cosy. as there are private pools there, then the main pool isn’t that busy, so i really liked it. the staff was great. Marianela from the bar was amazing. young lad who was serving us for breakfast was friendly too. the same was gor the lad called Captain. the room was spacious and had so many storage areas that was great. what was missing in our room was the drying clothes rack in the balcony. apart from that i really liked the room. bed was so comfy. wish the gym was bigger with a smith machine, but you can’t have everything 😉 at least there were dumbbells 👍 thanks again. regarding spa area, there was a lovely girl working (unfortunately i don’t remember the name) in the morning when we arrived and she explained to me all the treatments. the treatments sounded great, but the prices are very high tho. breakfast food was lovely!

I’ve just needs to be aware of the proximity to the airport. However this did not prove to be an issue for us but it does mean loud low flying jets. The property itself is top notch work immaculate grounds and rooms, with a beautiful view. No small shops within reasonable walking distance.

Electra Kefalonia is an exceptional hotel. You would get everything expected from a 5 star hotel especially staff & service which made this place unique. We felt welcomed the second we got out of the car with Cosmo helping us with the luggages and showing us our room. George at reception offered us welcome drinks and helping with the check in as well as personalised plans with our trip. Yianna took care of us at the restaurant with her attention to details and dedication. Effie at the front desk worked magic and assisted us securing a boat hire last minute. Absolutely flawless and fantastic service! We had the 2 storey suite which was luxurious, spacious and clean. Amenities were replenished daily and the house keeping team deserved a gold star keeping our room nice and tidy everyday. We didn't really have problem with the plane flying over. It was only brief seconds and mostly were smaller planes. It's not like having jumbo 747 landing on this small airport. We stayed in for a day enjoying the pool and facilities. I could only remember 5 planes flying over for the whole day. Actually it added to the experience as my daughter took some stunning photos with the plane and sunset. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I was to return to Kefalonia and recommend anyone who is considering travelling there.
