A must visit

Entering the hotel the care towards heritage and history was clear. The room was large and very comfortable (bed, shower, and space). There was room to have suitcases, and walk without feeling like you were tripping over something. The views from the room, balcony, and dining facility were beautiful. Beakfast was plentiful, varied and tasty. All the staff were smiling and helpful with suggestions and local knowlege. The caring for our stay and comfort was consistent from beginning to end. Would happily stay again!

The staff at hotel was kindly and very services, but the room very noisy, and even that in brochure signing that the hotel air-conditioned. But actually no air-condition in the hotel

The hotel was very clean and was beautifully decorated. Also, the staff was very professional, courteous, helpful and friendly.

A very nice hotel attached to a winery, you can take a tour of the winery as well. It is about a 15 minute walk to the center of Metsovo, along paved and cobbled streets. The room was spacious and clean, and had a balcony with table and 2 chairs.

Καταπληκτικό κατάλυμα το οποίο βρίσκεται περίπου 10' με τα πόδια από την πλατεία του χωριού. Όμορφο δωμάτιο, καθαρό με μεγάλο μπάνιο. Το πρωινό περιείχε σχεδόν αποκλειστικά σπιτικά προϊόντα τα οποία ήταν πεντανόστιμα. Λιτή και καλόγουστη διακόσμηση. Αξίζει να επισκεφθείτε το ιστορικό οινοποιείο Αβέρωφ και να κάνετε την ξενάγηση η οποία διαρκεί περίπου 15'.

Very nice traditional hotel with friendly professional service in the outskirts of Metsovo ,our stay was very comfortable ,breakfast was impeccable .

The hotel is located away from the central square of the town. Due to this, it is very quiet and peaceful. We chose to stay in a suite, so, our room was very spacious. We had a king-size bed and 2 sleeping sofas (although we only used 1). Nice balcony looking out into the woods. We love everything here. Staff are polite and courteous. Breakfast was sufficient. We also visited the winery and had an excellent tour by the knowledgeable staff. ought some wine too. Highly recommended!

מלון מאד יפה ומיוחד חדר גדול ומקלחת מקסימה היינו רק שני זטגות כך שלא יכולנו להנות מבופה ארוחת בוקר החימום בחדר לא כל כך עבד....

Excellent service and perfect breakfast. Wifi doesn’t work and rooms could be bit cozier, but we enjoyed our stay and want to thank the staff for excellent serive and winery tour.

The hotel is near the edge of the village and it is therefore quiet with a beautiful view to the winery. I liked the discreet decoration with old gravures and old wooden furniture, like a secretaire. The hotel staff was extremely helpful, polite and accommodating from the moment of our arrival to our departure. The room was clean, comfortable and relatively large. The wi-fi signal was strong. Amenities included: soap, shampoo, shower gel, body lotion and conditioner. Breakfast was beautifully arranged in glass and porcelain kitchenware on a buffet: it gave the impression of something served in a house for a special occasion. It included: fried eggs and bacon slices, cheese pie, spinach pie, tomatoes, excellent traditional bread, rice pudding, and assorted local cheeses and butter of the Averoff dairy brand. There was a variety of cereal, various cakes, pancakes, cereal bars, homemade marmalades, local honey, homemade sweet fruit preserves, and fresh seasonal fruits. All and all there was a satisfying variety of products. I give extra points to the hotel because the check – out time is the same as the check – in time (2p.m.), which was great because it allowed for a late walk to the village. Also another positive aspect of the hotel is that breakfast is served until 11.30 a.m. Visiting the winery is a must: there are free guiding tours arranged every 30 minutes or so. The winery has a gift shop and sells wine and wine related items. One of the wines you can only buy here.

Emplacement est magnifique ! Village à 8 min de marche également magnifique. Personnel très accueillant au delà des attentes. Nous avions une chambre familiale vraiment très belle et spacieuse pour l’europe !

In erster Linie wollten wir auf einem Weingut übernachten und dessen Produkte kennen lernen. Von dieser Vorstellung wurden wir befreit, zwar gab es im Schnelldurchgang eine kostenlose Führung durch Regale mit Weinfässern und Weinflaschen, mit der Produktion hatte das jedoch nichts zu tun. Den Wein probieren konnte man dann abends an der Bar, jedoch leider ohne jegliche Erklärung - mit Ausnahme der stichwortartigen Beschreibung in der Weinkarte. Fazit: Ein schönes Haus mit vielen Möglichkeiten, allerdings die typische Weinprobe bleibt aus, Kaufanreize wurden folglich auch nicht gesetzt.

Beautiful hotel in such a quaint mountain village. I don’t speak Greek but the staff all spoke English and made me feel so welcome in their country. Had the best time exploring Metsovo and highly recommend Katogi Averoff to anyone who visits!
