Firstly, we didn't get into Kos till 10 p.m., so we knew we would unlikely get anything to eat. But when we arrived at the hotel the receptionist informed us that they knew we were coming late, so they had prepared some sandwiches for us in case we were hungry!!! This was just the start of the 5-star treatment . Nothing is ever too much for them. The restaurant offers the best food for an all-inclusive hotel I have ever experienced. The restaurant staff (especially Tania) will do anything to ensure you have everything you need. My football-obsessed son played football most days as they have their own football pitch while I got to sit in the shaded breezy snack bar area nearby where I could keep one eye on my son playing, the other on my laptop while eating authentic gyros'. The bar manager, Mel, creates the best cocktails and my partner was definitely in love with their cold draft beer (did I tell you that Mel is a fire juggling entertainer too - I kid you not!). Our room was serviced every day by the wonderful Bona. She also used to pick flowers from the garden and place them on our fresh, white fluffy towels daily. To top it off when we went to the front desk and asked them for a taxi to go back to the airport, the fantastic manager, Vernoica, simply said; Don't worry, I'll take you to the airport in my car!! When we tried to pay for the trip she refused it!! She said it was no problem and was happy to help!! The service in this hotel is unrivalled!!

This hotel was amazing! The staff was super helpful and very informative. Food was great. I paid for the all inclusive and it was well worth it. Very inexpensive hotel that includes everything you need for an awesome trip. Pool was awesome as well!

We stayed in a 2 bedroom bungalow which was spacious and clean. However as we were on the ground floor we had no view which was a shame. The bedrooms were air conditioned but the living room was not which meant we did not really use it. The air conditioning controls for the bedrooms were rather complicated and difficult to find the setting we needed. The hotel grounds were beautiful with lots of lovely plants and flowers and the main hotel building was lovely. The beach was convenient (although across a road which could be tricky with younger children) but the sand was very dirty and gritty. We didn't mind the stones and boulders as we wore water shoes but the litter including cigarette butts was unpleasant. There was a lot of smoking around the hotel. We didn't sit around the hotel in the evenings after dinner because the seating area outside was quite cramped and when we tried it we were engulfed in smoke. The pool was lovely. Refreshing but not too cold but at times the music was far too loud to the point where I couldn't even hear what I was trying to listen to through my headphones. The animation team were great though and really friendly. The staff in the dining room and at reception were always lovely but some of the older bar staff were the opposite. Rude and off hand which was a shame. Overall though a great holiday and the kids loved it!

My family and I had a nice stay at Sovereign Beach Hotel overall. Although the hotel is very basic - it’s the staff that made the difference and I’d like to thank and mention them by name: Alexandra, John, Dora, Vasso, Tania, Veronica and Peter who runs the entertainment programme. They were all fabulous. As for the hotel itself, it’s not a five star property and is in dire need of refurbishment. We stayed in one of the bungalows and although it was clean, it was run down and some things like the door knobs and shower head didn’t work. The food was excellent, lots of variety and different cuisines from Italian to Chinese, Japanese and of course really good Greek food. I plan on returning to Kos next year but will stay somewhere else that is more modern.

Il personale era di una scortesia olimpica. Di origine Pakistana o di altra nazionalità non erano minimamente adatto al loro ruolo. Sembrava che loro dovevano pagare per lavorare. Puzza in tutta la struttura. Asciugamani per piscina con cauzione di €10 cadauno da pagare cash al momento del ritiro! Gli stessi asciugamani venivamo cambiati solo dopo 3 giorni...!!!!!!! Colazione e pasti senza sapore e minimo di qualità. Orribile incubo di hotel. VOI NON POTETE PRESENTARE QUESTO HOTEL NEL VS SITO : PERDETE LA FIDUCIA DEI VS CLIENTI........... Gino Sirci

Das Personal war super und hat den Urlaub gerettet. Das Hotel an sich war leider sehr abgewohnt. Es stand viel Müll rum, weswegen es komisch roch. Die Dichtungsfugen in der Dusche waren größtenteils schimmlig. Alles in allem hat das Hotel schon bessere Tage gesehen. Eigentlich hat es alles, was ein gutes Hotel braucht, aber es ist ungepflegt, alt und wirkt heruntergekommen. Die viel gepriesene Kinderecke ist leider auch ein Beispiel. Sie könnte toll sein, aber sie wirkt, als ob schon Jahre nichts mehr am ihr gemacht wurde! Wir würden keinesfalls wieder in dieses Hotel fahren.

Das ganze sieht sehr nach Massenabfertigung aus, vor allem der Essraum. Das Personal stand eher gelangweilt im Raum. Für eine Nacht war das Buffet in Ordnung. Für eine ganze Woche möchte ich nicht dort essen. Der Empfang war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war eher schäbig.

in general hotel is perfect (food and drinks are really well). The thing is there is almost nothing to see in around and you can only enjoy the stay in hotel and on beach (across the road). Animation team is not so well - nights were not so fun every day. WiFi is terrible. but I can state that this is probably the only negative impact in my mind. Enjoy!

Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer mit Meerblick gebucht, da wir mit einem 6 Monate alten Baby unterwegs waren und daher Ruhe und ein extra Raum für uns wichtig waren. Leider war laut Hotel wegen eines Gebrechens die nächsten 2 Tage kein Zimmer dieser Kategorie verfügbar und uns wurde ein Doppelzimmer im Untergeschoss des Haupthauses angeboten, das viel zu kein, heruntergekommen war. Nach längerer Diskussion mit der Rezeption und Hotelmanagerin wurde uns ein Doppelzimmer im 3. Stock des Haupthauses mit Meerblick gegeben, das auch etwas größer war nur leider extrem laut war, da es sich direkt über der Bar befand. Wir haben dann erfreulicherweise am nächsten Abend ein Familiezimmer bekommen, dass sehr geräumig war und auch ruhig. Die Zimmer sehr abgewohnt, aber sauber. positiv: ausgezeichnetes Essen - genug Auswahl, immer frischen Fisch und Meeresfrüchte und frische Salate Personal nett und zuvorkommend Gäste (großteils Italiener) ebenfalls angenehme Zeitgenossen sauberer Pool schöne Anlage gute Wasserqualität am Strand genug Parkplätze negativ: Animation am Pool - Musik viel zu laut fast den ganzen Tag Schirme am Pool und am Meer zu wenig und spenden nicht genug Schatten Stand im allgemeinen zu klein für dieses Hotel Beach bar (dürfte so gar nicht genannt werden) - keine Sitzgelegenheiten, kein Schatten nur sehr kleine Auswahl an Getränken Unterhaltungsprogramm am Abend - zu laut, man enkommt in der ganzen Anlage der lauten Musik nicht

This is a lovely hotel in a great position on the beach. The all inclusive food and drinks were very good and the swimming pool is excellent. The staff are amazing, very hard working and friendly. The only things I can think of that I did not like were no free wifi and the music around the pool was far too loud. Overall we had an amazing time and would not hesitate to return.

Arrivati in hotel ci informano che non c era alcuna prenotazione. Panico rabbia e stanchezza, dopo aver parlato un ora in inglese expedia ci ricolloca in una super struttura però perdiamo l all inclusive che spero ora mi verrà rimorsato

Would definitely recommend this hotel. I visited with my partner and 2 children aged 10 and 12 and we all enjoyed it. I was worried that as we visited in late July it would be very busy, although the hotel was probably full it never felt over busy. You could always find a sun bed (although the towel on sun bed was in operation!) and meal times were steady (I found going late for meals were quieter). The beach is right in front of the hotel with free sun beds and a beach bar opposite.

We didn't mind the stones and boulders as we wore water shoes but the litter including cigarette butts was unpleasant. There was a lot of smoking around the hotel. We didn't sit around the hotel in the evenings after dinner because the seating area outside was quite cramped and when we tried it we were engulfed in smoke. The pool was lovely. Refreshing but not too cold but at times the music was far too loud to the point where I couldn't even hear what I was trying to listen to through my headphones. The animation team were great though and really friendly. The staff in the dining room and at reception were always lovely but some of the older bar staff were the opposite. Rude and off hand which was a shame. Overall though a great holiday and the kids loved it!

Firstly, we didn't get into Kos till 10 p.m., so we knew we would unlikely get anything to eat. But when we arrived at the hotel the receptionist informed us that they knew we were coming late, so they had prepared some sandwiches for us in case we were hungry!!! This was just the start of the 5-star treatment . Nothing is ever too much for them. The restaurant offers the best food for an all-inclusive hotel I have ever experienced. The restaurant staff (especially Tania) will do anything to ensure you have everything you need. My football-obsessed son played football most days as they have their own football pitch while I got to sit in the shaded breezy snack bar area nearby where I could keep one eye on my son playing, the other on my laptop while eating authentic gyros'. The bar manager, Mel, creates the best cocktails and my partner was definitely in love with their cold draft beer (did I tell you that Mel is a fire juggling entertainer too - I kid you not!). Our room was serviced every day by the wonderful Bona. She also used to pick flowers from the garden and place them on our fresh, white fluffy towels daily. To top it off when we went to the front desk and asked them for a taxi to go back to the airport, the fantastic manager, Vernoica, simply said; Don't worry, I'll take you to the airport in my car!! When we tried to pay for the trip she refused it!! She said it was no problem and was happy to help!! The service in this hotel is unrivalled!!

My family and I had a nice stay at Sovereign Beach Hotel overall. Although the hotel is very basic - it’s the staff that made the difference and I’d like to thank and mention them by name: Alexandra, John, Dora, Vasso, Tania, Veronica and Peter who runs the entertainment programme. They were all fabulous. As for the hotel itself, it’s not a five star property and is in dire need of refurbishment. We stayed in one of the bungalows and although it was clean, it was run down and some things like the door knobs and shower head didn’t work. The food was excellent, lots of variety and different cuisines from Italian to Chinese, Japanese and of course really good Greek food. I plan on returning to Kos next year but will stay somewhere else that is more modern.

This hotel was amazing! The staff was super helpful and very informative. Food was great. I paid for the all inclusive and it was well worth it. Very inexpensive hotel that includes everything you need for an awesome trip. Pool was awesome as well!

Il personale era di una scortesia olimpica. Di origine Pakistana o di altra nazionalità non erano minimamente adatto al loro ruolo. Sembrava che loro dovevano pagare per lavorare. Puzza in tutta la struttura. Asciugamani per piscina con cauzione di €10 cadauno da pagare cash al momento del ritiro! Gli stessi asciugamani venivamo cambiati solo dopo 3 giorni...!!!!!!! Das Personal war super und hat den Urlaub gerettet. Das Hotel an sich war leider sehr abgewohnt. Es stand viel Müll rum, weswegen es komisch roch. Die Dichtungsfugen in der Dusche waren größtenteils schimmlig. Alles in allem hat das Hotel schon bessere Tage gesehen. Eigentlich hat es alles, was ein gutes Hotel braucht, aber es ist ungepflegt, alt und wirkt heruntergekommen. Die viel gepriesene Kinderecke ist leider auch ein Beispiel. Sie könnte toll sein, aber sie wirkt, als ob schon Jahre nichts mehr am ihr gemacht wurde! Wir würden keinesfalls wieder in dieses Hotel fahren.

Das ganze sieht sehr nach Massenabfertigung aus, vor allem der Essraum. Das Personal stand eher gelangweilt im Raum. Für eine Nacht war das Buffet in Ordnung. Für eine ganze Woche möchte ich nicht dort essen. Der Empfang war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war eher schäbig.

in general hotel is perfect (food and drinks are really well). The thing is there is almost nothing to see in around and you can only enjoy the stay in hotel and on beach (across the road). Animation team is not so well - nights were not so fun every day. WiFi is terrible. but I can state that this is probably the only negative impact in my mind. Enjoy!

Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer mit Meerblick gebucht, da wir mit einem 6 Monate alten Baby unterwegs waren und daher Ruhe und ein extra Raum für uns wichtig waren. Leider war laut Hotel wegen eines Gebrechens die nächsten 2 Tage kein Zimmer dieser Kategorie verfügbar und uns wurde ein Doppelzimmer im Untergeschoss des Haupthauses angeboten, das viel zu kein, heruntergekommen war. Nach längerer Diskussion mit der Rezeption und Hotelmanagerin wurde uns ein Doppelzimmer im 3. Stock des Haupthauses mit Meerblick gegeben, das auch etwas größer war nur leider extrem laut war, da es sich direkt über der Bar befand. Wir haben dann erfreulicherweise am nächsten Abend ein Familiezimmer bekommen, dass sehr geräumig war und auch ruhig. Die Zimmer sehr abgewohnt, aber sauber. positiv: ausgezeichnetes Essen - genug Auswahl, immer frischen Fisch und Meeresfrüchte und frische Salate Personal nett und zuvorkommend Gäste (großteils Italiener) ebenfalls angenehme Zeitgenossen sauberer Pool schöne Anlage gute Wasserqualität am Strand genug Parkplätze negativ: Animation am Pool - Musik viel zu laut fast den ganzen Tag Schirme am Pool und am Meer zu wenig und spenden nicht genug Schatten Stand im allgemeinen zu klein für dieses Hotel Beach bar (dürfte so gar nicht genannt werden) - keine Sitzgelegenheiten, kein Schatten nur sehr kleine Auswahl an Getränken Unterhaltungsprogramm am Abend - zu laut, man enkommt in der ganzen Anlage der lauten Musik nicht

This is a lovely hotel in a great position on the beach. The all inclusive food and drinks were very good and the swimming pool is excellent. The staff are amazing, very hard working and friendly. The only things I can think of that I did not like were no free wifi and the music around the pool was far too loud. Overall we had an amazing time and would not hesitate to return.

Arrivati in hotel ci informano che non c era alcuna prenotazione. Panico rabbia e stanchezza, dopo aver parlato un ora in inglese expedia ci ricolloca in una super struttura però perdiamo l all inclusive che spero ora mi verrà rimorsato

Would definitely recommend this hotel. I visited with my partner and 2 children aged 10 and 12 and we all enjoyed it. I was worried that as we visited in late July it would be very busy, although the hotel was probably full it never felt over busy. You could always find a sun bed (although the towel on sun bed was in operation!) and meal times were steady (I found going late for meals were quieter). The beach is right in front of the hotel with free sun beds and a beach bar opposite.
