An excellent location right in the city centre, just a few steps from a square full of restaurants, shops, and within easy walking distance of the key historical monuments. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room itself was basic, but clean and adequate.

Perfectly situated less than 100m from one of the busy squares in the Old Town, but completely unaffected by any noise from the numerous cafes and bars around. The Spot Hotel is basic, with nothing other than the small-ish rooms and courtyard area. Completely fine. I stayed for 7 days and there was housekeeping once. Again, perfectly acceptable. There was someone almost always on Reception if there was anything needed. The Hotel was exactly what I wanted for my first stay in Rhodes, in the Old Town.
BUT........
The mattress on the bed in Room 4 is dreadful, awful and terrible. Springs are protruding on almost the entire surface, making it a horrible surface to try to sleep on. I'm very surprised this hasn't been noticed by Management. It would be obvious to Housekeeping that there is something very wrong here, and you'd have thought they would have reported it as a maintenance issue.
It was only on Night 4 that I realised it was the mattress which was affecting my sleep so badly. By then I had decided I didn't want the disruption of a room move, had that been offered. So I decided to stay. I did manage to find a fairly narrow strip of unaffected mattress that I tried to stay on during the night, but that didn't always work.
In conclusion......
A really well-situated hotel, with a nice calmness to it. However, if you have booked to stay in Room 4, I would suggest you get a reassurance from Management that the issue of the deplorable mattress has been addressed.

This is a great location for exploring Old Town Rhodes. The rooms use the architecture of the medieval structures, and are decorated to maintain that atmosphere (while still providing 21st century conveniences). Since you're in the middle of the Old Town, you can go out and explore and have a place to take a break in the middle of the day before going out again. Price was extremely reasonable for the location it provides.

Stayed in room 5. Loved the rooftop terrace. Great place to enjoy a bottle of wine. Staff is very friendly. Easy walk to the ferries. Can walk anywhere in Old Town from the hotel. Our room was perfect for 2. Stayed 3 nights. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

Wir hatten Zimmer 2, sehr günstig, Fenster zum Innenhof. Im Zimmer, was man braucht (Wasserkocher, Kühlschrank, Kaffee und Tee) alles ist nett eingerichtet. Im Hotel war es angenehm ruhig, ob wohl es in der quirligen Altstadt liegt. Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich. Neben dem Zimmer ist der Wirtschaftsraum, da lief am morgen lange irgendein Gerät, das staubsaugeraehnliche Geräusche machte. Aber es störte nicht sehr. Man sah das Personal Bügeln, muss eben auch sein. Insgesamt waren wir sehr positiv überrascht. Für den günstigen Preis war es sehr gut und angenehm. Im gemütlichen innenhof kommt man schnell mit Gästen ins Gespräch.
