Had a suite with private pool sea front - lovely room and large outside area. Staff all very nice and attentive. Hotel very clean. Food was generally good sometimes a little bland. Very enjoyable trip to chill out by the pool.

The food was excellent with plenty of choice. Both hot and cold options were available and varied each day. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I had no negative experiences here, the accommodation was as described and extremely comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Beautiful hotel, staff are so friendly and helpful. Facilities great, hotel feel is laid back and luxurious but not fussy. Very clean and beautifully kept grounds. Location is great 30 minute walk to beautiful little town Panormo which has plenty restaurants, bars and a few shops. 30 minute drive into the city of Rethymno. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxed base to explore Crete, we stayed for 1 week and felt we could have easily stayed another few days.

Veldig gode fasiliteter, fantastisk ren sand strand, veldig stille og ingen bølger. Litt lite senger ved bassenget. Buffe restaurant med utvendig balkong og utsikt over havet gjør at det er ok å spise en buffé middag, maten var ok, frokost ikke så bra. Vil si at maten var ikke tilfredsstillende. Men verst av alt var prisene på mat og drikke utenfor pakken ( vi hadde halv pensjon) det var norske priser, brukte ca kr 35k i tillegg på familie på 4 i 2 uker dvs bare på lunsj og drikke/vin til middag, og vi tok kun vann til lunsj. Det var en utrolig kul bar ved stranden med bra musikk men nesten ingen var der, underholdning og stemning om kvelden var non existent og det bør en ha når hotellet er så isolert. God ferie men mye som kan forbedres så kan ikke helt anbefale den.

We had a wonderful holiday at the Royal Blue. We arrived on a late flight and there was a problem with our suite so we were upgraded. We could not believe our luck, sheer luxury. The staff were so friendly, the dining experience excellent and we just felt thoroughly spoiled all week. Would love to return.

It was a great hotel, lovely and clean. Well presented and great food and friendly staff. Would definitely visit again. Staff were very accommodating given it was our honeymoon. Although child friendly it was very much almost all adults and the few children and young people around were not disruptive. It was a great hotel, lovely and clean. Well presented and great food and friendly staff. Would definitely visit again. Staff were very accommodating given it was our honeymoon. Although child friendly it was very much almost all adults and the few children and young people around were not disruptive. Some small details could do with touch ups plaster cracked, flaking, cracked steps etc

Attentive and friendly staff, great dining options, located right on the beach, excellent amenities including an indoor and outdoor gym, a spa, and tennis courts, multiple pools - overall an excellent resort deserving of its 5 star status.

Amazing resort with everything available. Service was spectacular. We were upgraded to a Villa & it was gorgeous! We had our own private pool! Main pool & 2 private beaches were perfect! We had dinner at Elia a couple of times & food was delicious, service was superb! Highly recommend a stay!
