Stayed at the Orchid Central for 2 days with my wife. Excellent location, clean surroundings, excellent staff very courteous and helpful, most importantly prompt and ‘never say no’ attitude. To top it a very sumptuous and tasty breakfast which satisfies your taste buds may you be from any corner of the country. I would certainly recommend it to one and all. And to the staff- Keep it up.

Hotel's location is very great. You can walking around for shopping and sightseeing. Hotel is center for visit famous place of Pune by car for 10-30 mins. Receptionist are nice. They smile and helper, give Pune information and offer free bus for place not far . Room rate is resonable, convinence suitable for 2 person. Breakfast is delicious We are refreshing when we wake up. After a tiring trip

Room was pathetic with cockroach infection, fittings that were fallingbapart including a/c control. Telephones did not work or have a ceackle on the line. Maytress needed replacement. Staff was courteous. Room is in poor condition. Needs maintenance, pest control, new fittings and accessories. Overall unsatisfactory. The wifi is unsecured and did not work the first two days till we complained. Lights in cupboard have exposed wiring and the light would not go off.

Stayed here for a couple of nights on a business trip. The hotel is conveniently located close to Pune Lohegaon airport, and has lots of shops, bars and eateries in the neighbourhood, within walking distance. I used in-room dining a lot during this stay. The food was generally speaking good, but the service left a lot to be desired: for example, food was ordered for two, but cutlery was provided for only one; a request for ice took over 45 minutes to materialise; butter was kept under warm toast - with predictable results:)...and so on. The serving staff were mostly young and seemed inexperienced. Obviously, nothing was done on purpose, but it was a little exasperating. A little training here will go a long way!

Lovely restaurant across the road. Good location for Aga Khan palace and central Pune. Only negative, after staying for a full week we had paid extra for late 6pm checkout then had to hang around in the foyer for 3 hours until 9pm when we left for our flight - they insisted we pay full 1 day room fee to keep the room from 6pm to 9pm. We refused so sat in foyer. The room was empty upstairs so the hotel could've allowed us to use it but we felt a full 1 day fee on top of our already paid late checkout fee was unfair. Because of this I will stay elsewhere on my future visits to Pune, so hopefully they will see that their mean behavior has lost them revenue and they will treat future guests fairly.

Nice location, but the rooms! No air no ventilation amazing heavy smell of mold in the room all night long that you have to breath in! And the old A.C. system makes it worse so better keeping it off. Restaurant is ok average. Internet speed is fair.

Nice location, but the rooms! No air no ventilation amazing heavy smell of mold in the room all night long that you have to breath in! And the old A.C. system makes it worse so better keeping it off. Restaurant is ok average. Internet speed is fair.
