Firefly Eco Lodge

The room was excellent only thing was there no ac in the main room so it’s very difficult to sleep also there’s a lot of insects nearby but that’s understandable cuz it’s literally in rice fields

We stayed in the magical treehouse and it was fantastic, so cute and peaceful not a lot of bugs either. The bathroom was cute but the toilet did leak onto the floor sometimes, as it was not very well mounted to the floor. The toilet is the only reason I gave it a 4 star rating because it did make showering feel a bit icky then. The view was fantastic. There is an amazing pool bar restaurant next door as well which is super convenient and it is not a very long walk into the center of Ubud (maybe 15/20 minutes) we did the walk daily. Pool was very refreshing and super deep on site. We never ate here but we did have coffee and it was decent. The grounds and Eve peas exactly as I expected through pictures. I would totally recommend this to someone looking to stay somewhere off the beaten path or someone looking for somewhere out of the box (that was me, I wanted something so different for this vacation and it did not disappoint). We stayed for 5 nights and I wish it was longer, the bed was comfy and it was very relaxing. A warning though it can be very warm inside the mosquito netting until the temperature outside drops around 10pm (there are fans but you don’t really feel them through the netting).

Unique, beautifully designed spaces, peaceful. Loved it. Will be back.

The team is very nice, they have some drinks and food which is good because you cant access to the hotel with a car. Everything is well thaught from the decoration to the services. We spendt a good moment there.

The massage was a nice experience and the room setup was nice. Was not in rice fields as advertised.

Premetto che non ho soggiornato nel cottafe che avevo prenotato e questo è il motivo della mia recensione .circa 2esi prima del mio arricvo ho inviato io un messaggio all host x avere delle informazioni, in quell occasione l host mi informa che purtroppo il cottage che avevo prenotato (il bamboo cottage )era stato danneggiato da una tempesta e vhe quindi l avrri trovato ristrutturato più grande e più bello. Qualche giorno prima di arrivare invece m informa che non è pronto e mi offre un alternativa in un sltra location e soprattutto in 2 sistemazioni diverse (noi siamo inb3 )e nessuna delle alternative era x 3 .Io accetto (anche perché avevo già agato)e lui mi dice che riserva tutto sia il nidk che la camera così che iompossa sfegliere,invece all arrivo il nido era prenotato quindi ci hanno ricambiato sistemazione che ovviamente non somigliava minimamente a ciò che io avevo prenotato in origine. E in una delke 2 csmere pioveva dentro....... Peccato avevo aspettative altissime x quedta struttura ma sinceramente mi ha deluso tutta la gestione. Brava la signora dei massaggi(ce ne hanno offerto uno)e dewa la persona che ci ha accompagnati che ha cercato di mettere toppe ovunque.

L'hôtel est très bien. Les travaux suite à une tempête ne m'ont pas permis d'avoir le cottage que je voulais et on m'a proposé une autre chambre un peu éloignée de la réception et un peu isolée. Dommage; Je remercie l'équipe qui m'a offert 2 massages en compensation du changement de chambre.

Unfortunately we couldn’t stay in the room that we booked due to damage from a storm a couple months back, and were informed 2 days before that we had to stay in a different room. We still got to experience the beauty of staying in a remote bamboo house, but were a bit disappointed because it was advertised as an upgrade but was on a different property and so didnt come with the amenities like the pool, restaurant, or community experience which we were excited about. After we were messaged saying we got the upgrade and a free massage to compensate, we didn’t get much direction about how to get there or who we could contact for questions, and never heard back about the free massage so never got it before we had to check out. Besides these issues, the property itself was very nice and relaxing and had a beautiful view!

Cozy and quiet atmosphere you feel like in an oasis! Hopefully I can come back to this hidden gem as soon as possible. Staff were so lovely and the food was amazing. Definitely recommend it!

Amazing room . I had the aqua room , so comfortable with lush outdoor bathroom . Very boutique and quaint with loads of character . Helpful staff . It's a slight trek down a pathway but not too bad .

The staff at firefly ecolodge was extremely respectful and so kind! My favorite part was the family dinner they hosted❤️THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!
