We didn’t stay in the hotel but in the apartments that are a two minute walk down the street. This was perfect for us as we made use of the kitchen and laundry facilities. Good location in Cork, close walk to the train station and the city centre.

Staff was really friendly and extremely helpful. Got upgraded to an apartment and it was nice. Only problem was an exit light that could not be turned off and no AC on warm week. But super accommodating and got us a fan. Regularly cleaned the apartment and even remade our beds! Really nice place

The room was hot and very uncomfortable. There was an AC unit installed but not operational yet. They did put a small fan in the room and gave us an additional one but the room would not cool down even with the window open. There were many others in the hotel complaining about the heat but there was really nothing the staff could do to help out as there was no real circulation of air in our room since the open window faced out into a confined court yard. We booked 3 nights but ended up moving out after one night and got a refund for one night.

This could be a beautiful property but we had an apartment on the fourth floor through the alley which was not well maintained and appeared to be under construction. Dinner was outstanding at the restaurant and the room had nice amenities but I hate half glass shower doors where water comes out - who ever thought that was a good idea?

We enjoyed the location as it was close to walk to downtown for shopping and great restaurants. Excellent location to the bus station and buses for day trips to Mizen Head, Kinsale as well as other tours

Nice historic property. Terrific bar. Loud at night because of the club across the street. Hard to park a car, in fact about .5 miles away at a garage that is hard to use. The hotel paid for 60% of the cost.

We stayed in the apartment which is right on the street next to a pub. Which wasn’t too bad as long as the band in the pub next door wasn’t playing. the noise from the crowd was at times a bit much. Had one small issue that needed addressed and the hotel never got back with us about it. The apartment was very nice and would have been much better if it were not on the street.

It was quite expensive to stay there for 4 nights (over 1000 euros on a holiday weekend) so I was expecting a commensurate room. The room was quite small and the bathroom door even smaller. It required anyone who is 6 feet tall or taller to duck down or else bang their head (which I did on one occasion). I have stayed in hundreds of hotels all over the world and never seen anything like this. Nowhere on their website or at check-in does it forewarn guests about the mini door. The shower in the tub was also for leprechauns. When standing in it my shoulders touched the wall on one side and a plastic panel on the other side. Very strange.

This place was perfect for our needs. A three bedroom apartment with a nice kitchen and living space located right in the heart of Cork. Walking distance from everything. There was a bit of a musty smell and some construction going on but nothing major. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. We loved the place and will definitely stay there again.
