From the moment we arrived the hotel i.pressed us. It is luxurious and clean from reception to the bar and restaurant areas and the rooms. There was a short queue to check in when we arrived but the staff were very efficient and we did not have to wait long. At check in they advised that they had upgraded us to one of their newly renovated rooms for no additional charge. The room was gorgeous. It has a huge balcony, a dressing area, seating area and very spacious bathroom. There was also a superking size bed. Weate in the bar the first night and it did not disappoint. Our whole stay was relaxing and exactly what we hoped for. Breakfast was delicious with a very good variety of options including vegan options.

For some reason we were given a room to accommodate disabled. The bathroom was poorly refurbed, looking bodged and tatty. A half hearted job. Bathroom constantly cold to boot. Shame because the standards are hi here and this room was below parr, the bathroom by far. That said we hope to be back next year but I'll be specific with future rooms. Very little shelf r

Chose wine instead of complimentary prosecco and the staff kindly gave this instead. Very polite staff. Bar slightly slow to order in at night. Christmas decor amazing throughout.
