Breakfast is great with a good amount of buffet items and the option of made to order items. Timing could be earlier, especially for those who want to get an early start on exploring the ring of Kerry. Shower is a little cramped. Plenty of storage for items. Hair dryer was provided with attachments, as well as a hair straightener which is uncommon.

Our stay was a wonderful experience to celebrate a special wedding anniversary. The Heritage Suite was an indulgence, that we so enjoyed, including using the musical kettle. The breakfasts were superb with a huge choice of food. The whole stay was topped off by a daily visit to the Spa. The staff were so friendly & helpful. The only criticism was that the potatoes in the Irish stew we had one night in the Bar, were not cooked properly.

Absolutely marvellous. Everything was perfect. Room was spotlessly clean, modern and comfortable. Staff were the best. The breakfast was delicious and there were lots of options to choose from.

Our stay at the Brehon was 10/10 - such a great venue to meet up with family. We had family members travel down from Cork to meet with us - the lobby has lots of sofas in front of beautiful fireplaces where we could gather. Then we had fabulous meals in the Bar restaurant.

The hotel and its amenities exceeded expectations. The room had so much character and the pool and spa were an added bonus.

Great room very comfortable

From the moment we arrived the hotel i.pressed us. It is luxurious and clean from reception to the bar and restaurant areas and the rooms. There was a short queue to check in when we arrived but the staff were very efficient and we did not have to wait long. At check in they advised that they had upgraded us to one of their newly renovated rooms for no additional charge. The room was gorgeous. It has a huge balcony, a dressing area, seating area and very spacious bathroom. There was also a superking size bed. Weate in the bar the first night and it did not disappoint. Our whole stay was relaxing and exactly what we hoped for. Breakfast was delicious with a very good variety of options including vegan options.

Bed was very comfortable and staff very friendly at breakfast.

Staff were lovely. Ambience amazing. Facilities & spay amazing. Been here every year for past 5 years, superb. Only complaint was the room this year. For some reason we were given a room to accommodate disabled. The bathroom was poorly refurbed, looking bodged and tatty. A half hearted job. Bathroom constantly cold to boot. Shame because the standards are hi here and this room was below parr, the bathroom by far. That said we hope to be back next year but I'll be specific with future rooms. Very little shelf r

Beautiful large rooms, very clean, friendly staff

Room was lovely. A heritage room. Hair straightner, robe and slippers. 4th floor. Very quiet. Dinner pre show in Gleneagle was only OK. Chose wine instead of complimentary prosecco and the staff kindly gave this instead. Very polite staff. Bar slightly slow to order in at night. Christmas decor amazing throughout.
