939 Hotel

The room had everything we needed, including A/C. The building also had an elevator, which was convenient. The location was excellent. The only downside was the front desk receptionist, whose English was not the best, nor was his Italian so there was some miscommunication when trying to extend our stay, but the matter was resolved. Overall, a decent stay.

We left early morning, 7.40AM, went to the cafe nearby, remembered that we forgot our cheese and milk in the fridge. Went back about 8.10AM (30min later), room had not been cleaned yet, but the cheese and milk from the fridge were gone. About 60 euro (1.5kg) worth of expensive parmesan cheese gone. Reception denied anyone had been in the room (including themselves, saying they were watching the door all the time and nobody went inside), and they asked the cleaner (or someone else working there) and they also said no. We know, with 100% certainty the cheese and milk was there when we left. We saw it in the fridge this morning before we left, and we know we didn't pack it, even checked our bags. If they had thrown it or disposed of it, OK - but someone there was blatantly lying about taking the cheese. Reading Google reviews also reflect this hotels standards, it really was sub-par. The sign outside reading "Luxury Hotel" is false advertisement, nothing luxorious whatsoever about this place.

We booked this hotel at the last minute due to arriving one day earlier than expected. For the price it was good value, basic hotel. I liked that it was attended by someone and hotel seemed be secured.It was in an excellent location,

The hotel needs to be upkept. I found it to be overpriced considering the lack of amenities. We were ok overall though.

Me pareció que lo mejor que hicieron fué la segunda noche que me cambiaron de cuarto. Lo malo es que "el anunciado hotel"? esta en un edificio descuidado y viejo, con muchas escaleras no bien informado ni señalado, con maletas muchos escalones, elevador puerta de empujar muy pesada muy pequeño con maletas de 3 personas apenas entramos, subimos al piso 3 se asoma alguien y nos dice que es el piso 2 bajamos y mas escaleras a subir porque son medios pisos, nos abre otra puerta gruesa, el mostrador en un pasillo muy estrecho, al fondo baja otra escalera de acero que hay que agacharse a un lugar mas feo y descuidado el cuarto al fondo, cuarto para 4 con tres camas muy apretado, sin lugar para poner cosas, la tv mini y vieja. el Baño fatal, apestoso con el asiento del baño muy flojo cortinas de regadera enormes que tapan la coladera y el lavabo casi tapado, fatal. Nos quejamos y Pedimos otro cuarto no, solo mañana. Mi hijo solo durmió una noche. al día siguiente nos cambiaron a un mejor cuarto para dos. Me inconformé, Pedí devolución de 90 Euros. El pobre único empleado con poco ingles, me dijo que escribiera al correo; quiriti@tiscali.it y no respondieron. Ojala puedan pedir que me reembolsen. Gracias

Hotellet er ikke fancy, men det er autentisk, og så mener jeg ikke at placeringen kunne være bedre. Det er tæt på forskellige seværdigheder, indkøb, og liv.

Everything was great

If you're looking for a true 'no frills' place, then this is the place. We chose this hotel for location, which was good. We were close to restaurants, grocery stores, attractions and shopping. The hotel's bed was too low to the floor. I had a hard time getting in and out, and it was not comfortable at all. The bathroom in our room was not set up for use properly. The opening to the shower, opened by the sink - so we had trouble getting in and out of that also. You couldn't use the bidet as it was almost flush to the wall and too close to the toilet (see pic). The flooring near the window/balcony needs to be replaced (see pic). In the 2nd room, the bed was a little higher but still not comfortable. The refrigerator wasn't working and they never fixed the situation. The hotel is not handicap accessible. You need to take stairs to the elevator and then still have to take several more stairs. The elevator didn't work properly either. Joy was very friendly, courteous and helpful.

This hotel is not as advertised, the room we were presented with seemed to be in a basement area with a weird dangerous mezzanine stairwell as access. We were immediately hit with a very strong mould smell, found a tiny bathroom that required a contortionist to get to the toilet as it was wedged against the wall and the sink. The toilet seat was also very loose and moved sideways. The shower holder was 6ft high, also dangerously loose and as such the shower head fell a number of times. The location of this hotel is great so we decided to stick with it and asked for the toilet to be fixed and the shower holder. We were told it would be fixed the next day. We went out and came back the next day (10pm) and nothing was fixed. We were again told the next day and offered the use of the shower in the room next door. This room was horrific with an even worse mould stench and a cracked wall leaking water!! At this point I checked out and left, we only received a partial refund through hotel.com even though this was shocking. I have never seen such a sight in 40 years of travelling. Do not go there.

Great location

Black mold on our room walls and throughout the bathroom. Hairdryer hotwire to the back of the socket with exposed wiring. Toilet seat was broken and slid as soon as you sat down. Elevator to this floor did not work, so you had to go to floor above and walk down or floor below and walk up with luggage and children. No common areas. I asked for a place to sit and he took me to a staff kitchen/storage area that had leather couch and fridges/microwaves. God help you if you try to go downstairs and are over 5ft 6. Guaranteed to hit your head everytime. This is not a hotel.

It smell wet very small bathroom, fridge is not working

I was booked to stay at this property for 3 nights and left after 2 to check in to a different hotel. My main concern was safety as guests are not given keys to access the hotel but rather must rely exclusively on staff being present at their desk to be buzzed in through the front gate. This is extremely dangerous from a safety standpoint and there were times I was left stranded at the front of the building because no one answered the buzz. They also only provided sheets and no blankets, when I requested a blanket I was told that they did not have any. The doors to the rooms also did not come with any locks or bolts to secure your room from the inside.would not recommend, ESPECIALLY to solo travellers.

Son bien pequeños las habitaciones

The property was a decent price and was close to many tourist favourites. The hotel was a walkable distance to the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Spanish steps, Castle Sant’Angelo and the Vatican. Bring walking shoes. The rooms are a bit small and the the bathrooms are small as well. It’s relatively clean.

Very overpriced, outdated property. One half of the property is updated, but the other half is from 50 years ago. Terrible bathroom and shower. Very dangerous access to our room. Definitely would not recommend this property. Other than location, there was nothing that we liked about it.

Amazing

Hotel perfeito é muito bem localizado. O assoalho estava um pouco ruim mas NADA que atrapalhe a estadia. O elevador é um pouco apertado e tem 4 degraus entre ele e o quarto, oque dificultaria se fôssemos pessoas com dificuldade de mobilidade. Não era O nossso caso então foi perfeito. Atendentes bons, limpeza excelente e sempre trocavam as roupas de cama.
