this was a fantastic location close to malcesine centre (about 5-10 minute walk) if you book a Lakeview balcony you will have a stunning view every day and will be able to watch the sunset over the mountains. the location is compromised by being on the busy road circling the lake but if a little road noise wont put you off this is the perfect place. I complimented the staff on how kind and helpful they are as well as how clean the place was. this is definitely a business that takes pride in what they provide. drinks from here are cheap and the garden around the pool is beautiful. This is one of the best places I had seen and I was highly impressed by the fact it's only a one star hotel. I would stay here again, definitely. I do not think we will get the same warm welcome, good value and ideal location anywhere else so close to the lake.

Casa Popi is a small family run hotel about ten minutes walk from the centre of Malcesine. The hotel is spotless, the public areas bright and the staff could not be more helpful. The room that my wife and I were in, at the rear of the hotel was quiet, airy and spacious. Rooms at the front of the hotel are next to the busy Lake Garda main road. The rooms at the rear of the building, each with a balcony, overlook a well maintained swimming pool and garden area. The breakfast room is again bright and airy and well stocked with a range of provisions giving a good 'continental' breakfast. There is no air conditioning in the hotel but the provision of a large ceiling mounted fan in the bedroom area was more than sufficient to keep the temperature comfortable during the mid September period. The amenities, of the hotel, are enhanced by the helpfulness and attention of the owners. Like other reviewers I am amazed that this hotel only rates one star. I would have no hesitation in staying at Casa Popi in the future and of recommending it to others

Hotel drirekt an der Hauptstrasse. Keine Nacht geschlafen. Zimmer sehr stark nach Chemie gerochen.Mussten über 1 Stunde draussen sitzen und Tür vom Zimmer geöffnet lassen. Wifi funktionierte nicht auf dem Tablet.nach mehrmaligem fragen unhöfliche und abweissende Antworten. Nicht genug Parkplätze für PKW s. Entweder die ganze Woche mit den gleichen Handtüchern oder 3 euro pro Tag. Nie wieder casa popi.

Had such a lovely stay here. I was in a balcony room facing the lake and the views are just stunning. If you are a sensitive person who needs full quiet whilst sleeping however this may not be the best room for you as the road can be noisy, however this didn’t affect my stay. The staff are welcoming and helpful with advice, and nothing was any trouble. Plenty of yummy food at breakfast and a little room you can use to eat snacks and stuff. Overall just a really quaint and honestly beautiful place. I would stay again :)

Hotel was clean and staff friendly and helpful. Our room over looked the lake at the front but road was busy and it was noisy - constant cars going by all the time. Pool was clean and gardens pretty. Breakfast room was a little on the small side but the food was good - selection of cheeses, yogurt, fruit, pancakes etc. Coffee machine was a bit frustrating as you had to queue so providing a pot on your table would be nice in the morning. Bed mattress could have been better and the towels were always very hard. This hotel is very clean but if I ever stayed in Malcesine again I would choose a hotel well away from the road.

Zdecydowanie polecamy nocleg w hotelu Casa Popi. Spędziliśmy w nim 2 noce. Pokój z widokiem na przepiękne jezioro Garda, mozna je podziwiac z balkonu (2 krzesla i stolik). Niestety tuz pod balkonem przebiega glowna droga ktora prowadzi dookola jeziora wiec halas z ulicy jest dosc glosny. W pokoju jest wentylator nad lozkiem ktory troche lagodzi upaly (35 stopni) ale wiaodmo, ze nie spelni takiej funkcji jak klimatyzator. Świetna lokalizacja, 5 min piechota do urokliwego typowo włoskiego miatseczka Malcesine (mnostwo restauracji knajpek i sklepikow). Droga z hotelu do Malcesine niestety nie ma chodnika, trzeba isc skrajem drogi lub wybrac dluzsza trase blizej jeziora (najpierw z hotelu trzeba wyjść w lewo kilka minut i dopiero skręcić w prawo w ulice idaca w kierunku miasta. Tuz przed miasteczkiem malcesine znajduje sie wejscie do kolejki wjezdzajacej na Monte Baldo (zdecydowanie warto zaplacic za wjazd). Rano w hotelu bezplatne sniadanie (kanapki, wedlina, ser, platki, owoce i jogurt) oraz kawa (calkiem niezła). W hotelu widac ze maja duzo Gosci z Niemiec. Po drugiej stronie hotelu (nie od ulicy) znajduje sie basen i piekny ogrod - idealny na odpoczynek w cieniu pod drzewem. Dodatkowym atutem jest restauarcja/pizzeria Da Gigi ok. 50 m od hotelu. Pyszne makarony i pizza (samemu wybiera sie wszystkie dodatki) - ceny niewygorowane a jedzenie pyszne.

Insgesamt entspricht die Unterkunft der Beschreibung und für einen kurzen Trip an den Gardasee ist das Hotel gut geeignet. Frühstück und Zimmer beinhalten das Nötigste und ins Zentrum sind es ca. 5 Minuten. Täglich frische Handtücher im seeehr kleinen Badezimmer kosten extra und im Sommer ist es richtig schwül im Zimmer, da nur ein Ventilator vorhanden ist. Parkplätze sind beschränkt, sehr eng und direkt an der Hauptstraße liegend. Die Herzlichkeit und die Bemühungen der beiden Damen/Inhaberinnen sind toll.

The B&B is a short walk from both the lake and the town centre and the cable car to the top of the mountain. The bedrooms are reasonably basic but very clean as is the whole hotel, the staff are really friendly and helpful too. The pool and gardens are also well looked after and make for a great place to relax and read a book etc. Breakfast is good with a wide choice of food and coffees, juice etc. Would highly recommend and we will certainly return as several other guests had many times over!

The garden is very awesome, the pool is clean and has the perfect temperature. The hotel staff is very nice and the breakfast is better then it is usual for this prize in italy. Please check if you have a room to the street, because the street is loud, but the view over the lake is nice. If you have problems with the loudness of street book a room to the garden, because you will not hear the street on this side of the Hotel. Rooms are very clean. The interior is a bit old but very ok. All in all we had a pleasend journey and will go next time again in this hotel.

Malcesine är en gammal by vid Gardasjön, hotellet ligger nära det lilla centrumet som har gott om butiker och restauranger både trevligt och mysigt.hotellet har även en liten pool om man inte vill gå ner till sjön. Det är litet med en hel del trappor men p plats utanför huset. Bra och vänligt bemötande.

Hotel was clean and staff friendly and helpful. Our room over looked the lake at the front but road was busy and it was noisy - constant cars going by all the time. Pool was clean and gardens pretty. Breakfast room was a little on the small side but the food was good - selection of cheeses, yogurt, fruit, pancakes etc. Coffee machine was a bit frustrating as you had to queue so providing a pot on your table would be nice in the morning. Bed mattress could have been better and the towels were always very hard. This hotel is very clean but if I ever stayed in Malcesine again I would choose a hotel well away from the road.

Wir konnten ohne Auto unseren Kurzurlaub genießen. Der Swimmingpool und der Hotelservice lädt zum entspannen ein . Sehr schön.

Zdecydowanie polecamy nocleg w hotelu Casa Popi. Spędziliśmy w nim 2 noce. Pokój z widokiem na przepiękne jezioro Garda, mozna je podziwiac z balkonu (2 krzesla i stolik). Niestety tuz pod balkonem przebiega glowna droga ktora prowadzi dookola jeziora wiec halas z ulicy jest dosc glosny. W pokoju jest wentylator nad lozkiem ktory troche lagodzi upaly (35 stopni) ale wiaodmo, ze nie spelni takiej funkcji jak klimatyzator. Świetna lokalizacja, 5 min piechota do urokliwego typowo włoskiego miatseczka Malcesine (mnostwo restauracji knajpek i sklepikow). Droga z hotelu do Malcesine niestety nie ma chodnika, trzeba isc skrajem drogi lub wybrac dluzsza trase blizej jeziora (najpierw z hotelu trzeba wyjść w lewo kilka minut i dopiero skręcić w prawo w ulice idaca w kierunku miasta. Tuz przed miasteczkiem malcesine znajduje sie wejscie do kolejki wjezdzajacej na Monte Baldo (zdecydowanie warto zaplacic za wjazd). Rano w hotelu bezplatne sniadanie (kanapki, wedlina, ser, platki, owoce i jogurt) oraz kawa (calkiem niezła). W hotelu widac ze maja duzo Gosci z Niemiec. Po drugiej stronie hotelu (nie od ulicy) znajduje sie basen i piekny ogrod - idealny na odpoczynek w cieniu pod drzewem. Dodatkowym atutem jest restauarcja/pizzeria Da Gigi ok. 50 m od hotelu. Pyszne makarony i pizza (samemu wybiera sie wszystkie dodatki) - ceny niewygorowane a jedzenie pyszne.

Insgesamt entspricht die Unterkunft der Beschreibung und für einen kurzen Trip an den Gardasee ist das Hotel gut geeignet. Frühstück und Zimmer beinhalten das Nötigste und ins Zentrum sind es ca. 5 Minuten. Täglich frische Handtücher im seeehr kleinen Badezimmer kosten extra und im Sommer ist es richtig schwül im Zimmer, da nur ein Ventilator vorhanden ist. Parkplätze sind beschränkt, sehr eng und direkt an der Hauptstraße liegend. Die Herzlichkeit und die Bemühungen der beiden Damen/Inhaberinnen sind toll.

The B&B is a short walk from both the lake and the town centre and the cable car to the top of the mountain. The bedrooms are reasonably basic but very clean as is the whole hotel, the staff are really friendly and helpful too. The pool and gardens are also well looked after and make for a great place to relax and read a book etc. Breakfast is good with a wide choice of food and coffees, juice etc. Would highly recommend and we will certainly return as several other guests had many times over!

The garden is very awesome, the pool is clean and has the perfect temperature. The hotel staff is very nice and the breakfast is better then it is usual for this prize in italy. Please check if you have a room to the street, because the street is loud, but the view over the lake is nice. If you have problems with the loudness of street book a room to the garden, because you will not hear the street on this side of the Hotel. Rooms are very clean. The interior is a bit old but very ok. All in all we had a pleasend journey and will go next time again in this hotel.

A very comfortable and large room with access to a swimming pool, a balcony, the breakfast was great, easy walk to the lake and town. We were very happy with the accommodation.

Malcesine är en gammal by vid Gardasjön, hotellet ligger nära det lilla centrumet som har gott om butiker och restauranger både trevligt och mysigt.hotellet har även en liten pool om man inte vill gå ner till sjön. Det är litet med en hel del trappor men p plats utanför huset. Bra och vänligt bemötande.
