We stayed in Malcesine for four nights and paid extra for a lake-view room, which was absolutely worth it. Sitting on the balcony in the morning or in the evening with a drink, taking in the beautiful lake and surrounding mountains, was one of the highlights of our stay.
The room was clean and comfortable. It wasn't particularly spacious, but it had everything we needed, including plenty of storage and complimentary shampoo and shower gel.
The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We had one small issue with our room key, but it was dealt with quickly and efficiently.
Breakfast offered a good selection, with freshly cooked eggs and bacon made to order each morning, alongside fresh fruit, cereals and pastries. Everything we tried was very good.
We didn't have dinner at the hotel as the restaurant offered a fixed four-course menu (€38 per person), which was a little more formal than we were looking for. Instead, we enjoyed exploring the town, with Bar Oasis, just a short walk away, becoming a favourite for excellent €7 cocktails.
The hotel's facilities were also very good. Although we didn't have time to use everything, the pool, hot tub and gym all looked well maintained and were popular with other guests. There was ample parking, which was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel.
Overall, we'd happily stay here again and would definitely recommend paying extra for a lake-view room.

This hotel is simply wonderful and should be four or even five stars! The whole complex is spotless, absolutely immaculate. The staff are fantastic and very attentive and the breakfast is great. We will be back!

Solid stay. The shining feature of the hotel is the kind staff who are incredibly helpful with anything you need. The free breakfast was plentiful and had many options. The room was squeaky clean. On the other hand, our room was tiny. The hotel is situated on busy Via Gardesana, and the traffic noise was bothersome to me. They don't provide irons, which apparently is common in Italy, as our subsequent hotel did not either. They did show us an area where we could iron clothes if we wanted to. The on site restaurant did not provide any kid friendly dinner options. And the cleaning staff entered our room without knocking while we were in the room 3 different times which was pretty shocking to me. Overall, would not stay again.

Fabulous hotel😊 couldn't ask for more. Excellent breakfast and all the staff so friendly and helpful. Beautiful view from the balcony. Yes there is. Short stroll into town, but perfect for a unwinding after a busy day around the lake.

Everything about this hotel was great, 10/10, 5 star. The staff were very helpful explaining the area, how to get to town which is a short 5 min walk. Great views, great rooms, great food!

Excellent location - Walking distance to town, funicular, bus, etc. Room was very clean with balcony and great views. Great breakfast. Staff was terrific and very helpful. Would highly recommend and stay again!

The location and outlook of the hotel was very good and within walking distance of the Castle. The breakfast was varied and very nice and all the staff were professional and very helpful. The room was clean and spacious.
The pool was not heated although refreshing.

Tolle Aussicht, gutes Frühstück, mega nettes Personal, schönes Appartement, gute Lage etwas abseits des Trubels aber trotzdem alles schnell fußläufig zu erreichen.
Leider war die Straße direkt unter unserer Wohnung. Aber Fenster sind gut Schallisoliert.
