I loved this little hotel. I had no idea how centrally located it would be when I booked it! It's a no-frills hotel. My room was very tiny with a single bed, but it had a private bathroom (which is all I care about). They clean the bedroom and change the towels every day, but if you want the bed sheets changed, you need to ask them to do it. I was there for 10 days, and my bed sheets were not changed (although they did make my bed every day). Other than that.... loved it! The staff was great, helpful, super friendly, and the breakfast was awesome. No cold cuts, but breads, muffins, cereal, and awesome cappuccino!!! The hotel is walking distance to Naples' central train station and there are a TON of shops and restaurants around it. I felt super safe walking around the neighborhood the entire time I was there. Bonus! The "Eat Pray Love" pizzeria (L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele) is only about 3 or 4 blocks from Hotel Colombo, and I didn't even know! Imagine my shock! The Hop On Hop Off bus has a stop right across the street from the hotel (Stop #7), so that was awesome, too!!! I cried on my last day. I still miss my tiny room and my daily routine. If you're content with "simple" things like I am when I travel, you will love Hotel Colombo!

Preis Leistungsverhältnis top. Die Lage ist zwar etwas laut und auch mal dreckig, man erreicht aber alles zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten. Es ist nunmal direkt am Hauptbahnhof.
Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das freundliche Personal, welches all unsere Fragen beantwortet hat und stets ein Lächeln im Gesicht hatte. Wir hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt.

This hotel, while budget-friendly, unfortunately did not meet our expectations. The bathroom was not as clean as we would have hoped, with a loose toilet seat and less than ideal ventilation. The room itself had a unpleasant, musty odor. The air conditioning was not very effective. The noise level was quite high, which was a bit disruptive. While the hotel is conveniently located near the train station, the surrounding area felt somewhat unsafe.

An absolute budget hotel of the worst kind. The bathroom was filthy, the toilet seat was loose, the ventilation was dirty, and the room was generally greasy and unpleasant with a musty smell. The curtains were grimy, and the air conditioning barely worked. High noise level. The hotel is centrally located near the train station, but the area feels extremely unsafe.

The staff was very friendly, from the hosts to the cleaners. The location of the hotel is nearby the station of Naples and the old centre. It was easy to walk to the most attractions in Naples. There was room service every day. Some cons are the dust on the furniture, the matresses with no temperature regulation and the relatively small shower cabinet, but the accommodation is overall very OK to good.

Zentrale Lage, in 5 Minuten zu Fuß am Bahnhof Garibaldi bzw. zum Flughafenbus. Bus und Circumvesuviana (Vorortzug nach Herculaneum/Vesuv/Pompeji) in 2 Minuten erreichbar.
Frühstück einfach, aber ausreichend.
Check In und Check Out zügig und ohne Probleme, Gepäckaufbewahrung kostenlos möglich.
Zimmer sind einfach und zweckmäßig, Einrichtung schon etwas älter. Sauberkeit okay, Handtücher frisch und Bett täglich gemacht, Badreinigung könnte besser sein, aber akzeptabel.
Zur Umgebung: Typisches Bahnhofsviertel, nicht gerade die beste und sauberste Gegend. Haben uns aber zu keiner Zeit unsicher oder belästigt gefühlt, daher ohne weiteres zu empfehlen. Hotel punktet mit seinem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wer viel Zeit im Hotel verbringt oder einen gehobenen Standard sucht, der sollte besser woanders unterkommen. Als einfache Unterkunft in guter Lage, um Neapel und Umgebung zu erkunden jedoch zu empfehlen.

Staff are pleasant and helpful, rooms are clean as well. Can be a bit of a walk to some attractions, however the station is very close which is helpful for your day trips and with the metro nearby it is a good place if you're travelling further out. The streets around it don't like very friendly, but its very close to a main road so it's not that bad. Only criticism is that the walls can be a bit thin, heard some conversations from the room next door, but didn't bother me too much.
BTW, great cafe - pizzeria around the corner on the main road with cheap and tasty pizza

Good location for metro and location for the old town.Can leave your luggage at hotel before your check-in time and leave it for collection later after check-out.Staff friendly and give advice on where and how to get around Naples.Reception open 24-7 so always somebody to help with any questions.little terrace to have drinks but no draft beer only cans.

Dieses Hotel liegt im Bahnhofsviertel von Neapel.
Vorteile:
Alibus ist gleich in der Nähe (ca.400 Meter)
Bahnhof Circumvesuviana ist gleich gut erreichbar für einen Ausflug nach Pompei Vesuv oder Sorrent.
Die Neapolitaner sind sehr freundlich.
Nachteil:
Es ist einfach dreckig in Neapel, dass Zimmer ist sehr klein.
