The lobby did smell like urine but overall it’s old and historic and the location is absolutely Amazing.

Hotel Emmaus har ett fantastiskt läge - några minuters promenad till Peterskyrkan, och det går bussar till det mesta alldeles runt knuten, om man inte vill promenera de 30-40 minuter som det tar in till stan. Personalen på hotellet är fenomenalt trevliga. Alla var vänliga, tillmötesgående och gjorde allt för att vi skulle känna oss som hemma - alltid med ett leende. Vi reste med barn, och kökspersonalen var så vänliga mot dem. Vi kände oss väl omhändertagna! Hotellet är dock tyvärr mycket nedgånget. Badrummet hade spår av svartmögel, tapeten flagnade från väggen. Värst var nog de enkla lakanen med väldigt slitna och luddande filtar ovanpå - de filtarna tvättas knappast mellan varje gäst. Rummet kändes tyvärr därmed väldigt ofräscht. Dubbelsängen i rummet var stenhård, medan de två enkelsängarna för barnen var något mjukare. Hotellet är otroligt lyhört. Stenväggarna/golvet i kombination med enkla trädörrar gör att man hör samtal och rörelser från hela trapphuset. Frukosten ingår i priset och gör att man blir mätt. Stort plus för kaffet som görs på beställning, samt givetvis den trevliga personalen! Skulle jag bo här igen? Nja. Ifall filtarna byttes ut mot täcken med påslakan skulle jag absolut bo här igen pga läget och den fantastiska personalen.

Great Location if you want to visit Vatican City. Very helpful and friendly front desk personnel, gave great recommendations for restaurants and help get us airport transfers and Port transfers. Would definitely choose to stay here again.

Good value for money in Rome centre, very close to Vatican. Easy walk distance to St. Peter plaza. Plenty of shops, restaurants and grocery shops nearby. Taxi rank at the hotel front door. Hotel facilities and hotel rooms for sure require modernisation and refreshment, however all is in order. Easy access, very friendly staff with professional service and support to hotel guests. Francesca at the reception supported us with car park. Thank you!

The breakfast menu was adequate, but the environment was poor. Walls need painting and new tablecloths would be a great improvement.

Cory at the front desk was extremely professional and friendly. He recommended a place for dinner practically next to the hotel, which was absolutely delicious. He made sure to give us our free bottle of wine as we are Gold Expedia members the state was wonderful.

The hotel is small but had everything that we Needed. The room was small but clean. The receptionist and all the employees were very friendly, helpful and professional. We loved the breakfast. It is two minutes walking to the St. Pete Cathedral. Very safe area around. 100% recommended.

Amazing historic hotel steps from Vatican, we even can see it from our window! Highly recommend to stay there, close to everything and very safe.

All personal was very attentive, friendly, and professional. The Hotel has a great location 7 minutes walk from the Vatican. Rooms are very clean breakfast is included.l had a tour before 7 am . They accommodate an early breakfast just for that day. Something l really appreciated it, This is my hotel . I am coming back next summer. Keep up the excellent work. El hotel esta a 7 minutes caminando del Vaticano. Cuartos muy limpios y Comodos , desayuno esta incluido. Tenia un tour antes de las 7 de la mañana y me dieron acceso al desayuno antes de las 7;00 am solo por ese dia, algo que aprecio mucho. Este es mi hotel para mi proximo viaje. Muchas gracias a todo el personal del hotel por que gracias a su excelente trabajo estuve bien atendida y comoda.

Very clean. All personal very friendly, attentive and professional. Good price for the quality of the room and the breakfast that is included. It is very convenient and safes time. I had an earlier tour scheduled before 7:00 am. Miguel one of the receptionist offered to accommodate my breakfast just for one day. The next morning l had access to my breakfast before 7:00 am. I really appreciate it. I am extremely happy with my stay . I will be going back next summer with a couple of friends. Something that l should add some of their personal speak English, Italian and Spanish. Something very convenient because my friends who will be travelling with me next year only speaks Spanish. My thanks to everyone who works there for making my stayed a very pleasant one. Keep up the excellent work 😃

Good location to St. Peter

Friendly staff. Wonderful location, just a few minutes walk from Saint-Peter Square. Room is old and in need of renovations. City tax must be paid in cash for some reason.
