Lovely setting, close to beach and restaurants, quiet getaway from bustling city. Only downside is difficulty with transport due to work stoppage strikes during our stay causing us to pay a high price for a taxi to get there rather than the bus as we had planned. Early morning bus the next day was running so we were able to get to the airport on time. They do offer a shuttle but it is also expensive and must be reserved in advance.

Hotel Miraggio is located in an absolutely Beautiful and Very Safe Area. It is only 1 Block to the Beach/Ocean and only 15-20mins to the Airport. The staff made us feel so at home and made themselves available to us 24hours for whatever we needed. The Room & Patio was very Clean and Comfortable and we even had TV options in English!!! We were very-very lucky to have had the opportunity to Stay at Hotel Miraggio!!!!

Beach down a street very close. Not much to do at night very quiet. They offer a taxi service to Macaresda train station for 20 euros. Staff very friendly only one comment but. Or a complaint. I had to go to train for 6am and I got breakfast included which I knew I would miss breakfast hours but I was offered an espresso while waiting and was charged for it. Again not a complaint it was just odd.

Our international flight was cancelled until the next day. We found this hotel with a search for hotels near FCO. This was not yet the time of year for this hotel to be busy. The staff was friendly, the food was good, and the hotel was clean and tidy.

L'hôtel est très bien situé à distance de marche de la plage, de supermarchés, de resto et d'arrêts d'autobus, notamment. La décoration est jolie, chaleureuse, de même que l'aménagement paysager. Le personnel/manager est professionnel et aidant. Mes bémols: la petitesse de la chambre attribuée (9 pieds par 10 outre la salle de bain). Humidité présente malgré clim/chauffage fonctionnels. Cafetière sur demande. Le Miraggio club n'était pas encore ouvert la journée de mon arrivée et le site Internet ne l'indiquait pas. Par contre, 4 plats de pâtes étaient vendus à l'hôtel. (Excellent 😊). Erreurs dans la facturation de services.

After dealing with massive crowds in Rome due to the Jubilee Year & the Pope's funeral on the day of our arrival, the busy ports on our 8-day cruise and our disembarkation and overnight stay in Venice, we flew back to Rome. We wanted somewhere quiet for our last night before our 9-hour flight home. We arrived at the Hotel Miraggio, a beautiful hotel & beach resort that was just a few weeks from being in season. We were so happy to have peace & quiet. Our check in with Monique was smooth and the room was lovely. We had lunch & cocktails at the Miraggio Beach club and then walked the beach. We returned to the hotel and enjoyed relaxing on the chaise lounges in the rear of the property and the outdoor terrace attached to our room was perfect! We asked for dinner recommendations from Letto (sp?) and we walked to the BBQ di Angy for a nice dinner and Gelato. We walked back to the hotel and had a great night's sleep. The breakfast was fabulous, and check-out was a breeze! I would highly recommend this hotel out of season if you are looking for peace & quiet!

You can tell by the building that this hotel has been around a while. The room was super well maintained, clean and quiet. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our little patio and table/chairs was an unexpected bonus!

The grounds and gardens surrounding the hotel are beautiful. The inside of the hotel is in dire need of renovations though. The walls are paper thin and you can hear people doing their business in the toilets, talking and their cell phone ringing. The air-conditioner didn’t work and it was 26°C in the room. Couldn't keep the windows open at night because there were no screens on the windows and the mosquitos were terrible. Front desk couldn't figure out why the AC wasn't working and didn’t offer any solutions. The internet was ok but the signal wasn't strong so I never had full bars. The hotel staff walked around in loud shoes thumping through hallways from 7AM onwards.
The town has nothing closeby and most restaurants were closed. Beach is difficult to access as you have to enter through private beach clubs which looked as if they've been abandoned for some time. Its not super convenient to get to the hotel without a car. The bus from the airport has limited hours and is not that frequent. Overall i wouldn't stay again or recommend.

This is an ideal place for a quiet retreat. 200 M from the beach & and a 25 min drive from FCO. We spent 3 enjoyable days in late April & had a lovely time. The staff was extremely nice & helpful. Specially Monica & Matteo.
