Giulio and Maria in reception were excellent. Both very helpful, warm and friendly. Went out of their way to answer questions. Hotel and room were quaint, beautiful and historic. It is a former convent with some relics remaining.Very clean and comfortable. Unique and beautiful rooms. Fantastic breakfast included.

Stayed here since it's near where our daughter is living while studying in Bologna. Very cute - an old convent converted into a hotel. Rooms were decent sized and the breakfast was good. A little walk to the Piazza Maggiore, but there are businesses close to the hotel - a supermarket right next door.

Attention toutefois à la suite : celle qui est présentée sur le site n'est pas forcément celle attribuée. Ne vous fiez donc pas aux photos.

Appreciate that it is a very old building and very unique but better soundproofing is needed. No excuse for poor quality towels and bedsheets or toilet paper. If you're going to provide toiletries, you need to provide more than just 4 bottles of shampoo.

Bel hôtel, dans le centre ville de Bologne et à distance de marche de la plupart des points d’interêt. Chambre très propre, ainsi que la salle de bain. Un peu de bruit à noter cependant. Petit déjeuner très complet. Personnel très attentif et sympathique.

El hotel está en un edificio antiguo, la recepción está muy bien conservada, con el estilo de una casona, conservando algunos frescos en la paredes, y partes de un trampantojo.
Pero, la habitación, no es que conserve un estilo antiguo, es que da la sensación de ser la pensión donde me quedé por primera vez en Melilla por trabajo hace 25 años.
Yo entiendo que la estetica en los hoteles en Italia no se cuida, pero esto es un hotel de 4 estrellas siendo el máximo 5, esa es la escala, y esta habitación no lo representa.

However, we experienced noise (loud footsteps) coming from upstairs early morning and late nights. Also, shower pressure was very weak so shower wasn’t super comfortable.
Breakfast lacks some options.

The reception staff was very friendly, the hotel is definitely not a 4 star Hotel and I don't understand how they manage to get that since everything is old and nothing modern, it looks like earlier was a church so it makes interesting the stay, I don't think I will be back but it was ok for a couple of nights.

We had a very pleasant stay at Il Convento dei Fiori di Seta in Bologna. Staff was very kind and eager to help, our room was clean and large, breakfast standed out in our travels, with best and wide buffet and best service. The only potential issue was the hotel location, which is about 20 minutes from the city center. but that was not a problem for us.
