Un Soggiorno Davvero Eccezionale all'Hotel Il Principe Mio marito ed io abbiamo vissuto un'esperienza meravigliosa all'Hotel Il Principe. Dal momento del nostro arrivo, il personale ci ha fatto sentire veramente accolti e curati. L'hotel stesso è elegante, confortevole e perfettamente posizionato, ma ciò che lo distingue davvero è il livello del servizio. Durante il nostro soggiorno, abbiamo avuto difficoltà a trovare biglietti per una partita del Catania Football Club, un momento clou che speravamo davvero di vivere. Il team alla reception ha fatto di tutto, cercando instancabilmente fino ad aiutarci a ottenere i posti. Grazie a loro, eravamo allo stadio per vedere il Catania segnare due volte e vincere negli ultimi minuti, diventando uno dei momenti più memorabili di tutto il nostro viaggio. Abbiamo apprezzato così tanto il nostro soggiorno che abbiamo prenotato altre notti per il nostro ritorno a Catania prima di tornare a casa. È raro trovare un hotel dove ci si sente sia ben curati che veramente apprezzati come ospiti. They remained calm and composed even during busy moments, and their courteous manner never wavered. The room was okay. It needs a few upgrades. Bathroom shower head was leaking water from the base and as a result the pressure was compromised. It would have been excellent if they had a kettle and tea/ coffee in the room . Overall the room was in good condition despite the age of the hotel . It was clean and comfortable. A/C worked good. Hot and cold water was good. Room was quiet, but lacked outlets close to the bed for charging phones etc. Great location . Front office was very professional and accommodating and recommended many areas around town and best places for food. It was much appreciated.

Acceptable hotel if you are looking for a reasonably priced place to sleep in the city center. Almost all Catania attractions are within walking distance and the hotel building is beautiful and in relatively good condition. That being said, breakfast was very limited especially if you wanted something savory (just 2 types of ham and 1 type of cheese, the same every day - otherwise they had 4 or 5 different types of croissant...). The worst part was the level of cleanliness though - the shower cabin had a significant amount of mold, and during our 6 night stay they never changed our bedsheets (which were stained to begin with) or vacuumed - actually they most likely didn't vacuum between guests either because there were a ton of dust bunnies on the floor and our socks would get full of dust after a walk from the bed to the bathroom. It's really a shame because this place could be so much nicer with a little more effort, but the current conditions really don't justify it being 4 stars.

Pro: - They have extra large rooms and bathrooms - the AC works well - extremely well located Cons: - barely any street parking and if you do find it you have to battle with the machines and pray they take a credit card and you understand the instructions in Italian - the shower was small but the shower entrance was miniscule.. im fat and could barely get in. It hurt me. - there are three steps to go up and another three to go down to the very old , tiny elevator but then there are 25 marble stairs to move your suitcases to the rooms and its painful - old and outdated bed covers/sheets and bad springy mattress - there is no one at the check in so to access the courtyard you need to correspond via WhatsApp with management and pray they answer your message. After 8pm they are not available . - there is a parking they work with which is NOT next door and its $15 but needs to be reserved in advance however they might forget and tell you there is no space when in fact you reserved it before

Una stanza polverosa, veramente molto sciatta, dove si sentiva l'odore della polvere appena entrata e della mancanza di ricambio dell'aria malgrado i soffitti fossero particolarmente alti. Veramente una sciatteria mai vista in vita mia, forse uno dei posti peggiori dove ho dormito, considerando anche il prezzo superiore ai 200 euro a notte Non tornerò mai più in questa struttura. Guardate la foto per vedere la polvere che c'era sul comodino.

Absolutely stunning location! It was an easy walk to the cable car and a great way to see Isola Bella. There were a few random hairs on the bed when we checked in but it was otherwise spotless. The breakfast was excellent and the rooftop pool was gorgeous!

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Room was nice and comfy. great location and close to the center Breakfast was just okay, a bit of overcooked food. Definitely take the parking option they suggest you since there is no way you can find any parking around.

Acceptable hotel if you are looking for a reasonably priced place to sleep in the city center. Almost all Catania attractions are within walking distance and the hotel building is beautiful and in relatively good condition. That being said, breakfast was very limited especially if you wanted something savory (just 2 types of ham and 1 type of cheese, the same every day - otherwise they had 4 or 5 different types of croissant...). The worst part was the level of cleanliness though - the shower cabin had a significant amount of mold, and during our 6 night stay they never changed our bedsheets (which were stained to begin with) or vacuumed - actually they most likely didn't vacuum between guests either because there were a ton of dust bunnies on the floor and our socks would get full of dust after a walk from the bed to the bathroom. It's really a shame because this place could be so much nicer with a little more effort, but the current conditions really don't justify it being 4 stars.

Very kind and professional staff. Wanted a different room and they moved me to another room carrying all my stuff. Excellent breakfast and superb espresso coffee like it has to be in Sicily. Love it

Pro: - They have extra large rooms and bathrooms - the AC works well - extremely well located Cons: - barely any street parking and if you do find it you have to battle with the machines and pray they take a credit card and you understand the instructions in Italian - the shower was small but the shower entrance was miniscule.. im fat and could barely get in. It hurt me. - there are three steps to go up and another three to go down to the very old , tiny elevator but then there are 25 marble stairs to move your suitcases to the rooms and its painful - old and outdated bed covers/sheets and bad springy mattress - there is no one at the check in so to access the courtyard you need to correspond via WhatsApp with management and pray they answer your message. After 8pm they are not available . - there is a parking they work with which is NOT next door and its $15 but needs to be reserved in advance however they might forget and tell you there is no space when in fact you reserved it before

Una stanza polverosa, veramente molto sciatta, dove si sentiva l'odore della polvere appena entrata e della mancanza di ricambio dell'aria malgrado i soffitti fossero particolarmente alti. Veramente una sciatteria mai vista in vita mia, forse uno dei posti peggiori dove ho dormito, considerando anche il prezzo superiore ai 200 euro a notte Non tornerò mai più in questa struttura. Guardate la foto per vedere la polvere che c'era sul comodino.

Absolutely stunning location! It was an easy walk to the cable car and a great way to see Isola Bella. There were a few random hairs on the bed when we checked in but it was otherwise spotless. The breakfast was excellent and the rooftop pool was gorgeous!

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Room was nice and comfy. great location and close to the center Breakfast was just okay, a bit of overcooked food. Definitely take the parking option they suggest you since there is no way you can find any parking around.
