Several of the other reviews seemed unnecessarily harsh. For the location, which is an expensive area, this is a fine hotel for the price. It was very clean, the owners and workers were nice and friendly, and the food at the restaurant was good. They cooked for us one night even though we were the only ones there.
The balcony views of the lake and mountains were amazing. But the road noise is for real, especially during rush hour, but calms down a lot past 7pm. Maybe bring some ear plugs if you are concerned, but it is worth the sacrifice for the view!

First impressions were not good. We arranged for late checkin, a key was to be left in a coded key box. On arrival just after midnight, very tired, there was no key in the keybox, and no-one to answer the phone. No-one answered the door. Luckily we found a member of staff purely by chance, when we saw a downstairs light on at the back of the property. Rooms at first appear dated, but they are individual in style and actually more appealing than a modern and boring standard Travelodge. Comfortable bed. The pool was a welcome facility in the sunshine. The hotel is about 500m from George Clooneys villa - the hotel is in a good location, 15mins drive from Como with good views across the lake. Cannot comment on dining as we were room only. We would stay again, but arrive before check in closes!

It's a good location in Laglio, as I was there for a wedding. So, good if you are there for specific reasons, an event, business. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff are wonderful. This is not a property you will be spending time in. You need to walk or taxi to do anything. The breakfast is basic, and enough to meet your morning hunger.

I was afraid to touch things because it looked like it hadn't been cleaned or wiped in years. The floor mat had stains on it. The sheets did smell washed and looked clean
Hair dryer didn't work.
Shower had was wonky - calcified head so the water sprayed in directions it wasn't meant to & the water pressure was low because the head was probably worn out.
Not a great location. Even for the view. Lake view is literally everywhere in como stay somewhere else for yes same price that's cleaner and skip on the lake view

Ganska slitet hotell som ligger direkt vid vägen vilket innebär mycket oljud från både bilar och motorcyklar. Troligtvis bättre om man kan bo högre upp än på första våningen som vi gjorde. Ok frukost samt restaurang med prisvärd mat.
