We had a wonderful time! The pool is amazing with an incredible view. The staff went out of their way to make our stay fantastic, especially our server Leonardo. The breakfast was great with eggs to order and everything freshly prepared. Highly recommend!

Best hotel experience I've ever had. The staff is extremely kind and generous. The grounds area absolutely stunning. The food from the restaurant is incredible as well. I can't say enough good things about this place. We got a chance to meet one of the owners and he was a great person who made us feel at home. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxury stay in Tuscany.

One of the finest hospitality experiences I have ever had. The property is unbelievably beautiful. We were in a two bedroom suite, each bedroom with its own bath. The space was incredible. During our four night stay we elected to have dinner at the property three times; it was that good. Most significant to our experience were the outstanding staff and the serene environment. The staff could not have been more attentive. They assisted us with restaurant and activity reservations. On property they were there whenever we needed them. With only 15 rooms, you could feel like you were staying in your own private mansion. Views of the Tuscan countryside are everywhere and stunning. Ta truly unforgettable experience.

What a beautiful oasis in the Italian countryside! We spend 3 beautiful days here and everything was wonderful. The staff was so attentive and welcoming and the rooms are simply magnificent. Some days the bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to get up! We especially loved all the quiet sitting areas around the property, perfect for morning coffee and evening sundowners. The deck was so nice for our meals as well. Highly recommend a stay here if you’re in the area.

We just returned from a fantastic trip to Italy highlighted by our time at Villa le Calvane. Eva and Gemma were wonderful communicating with us prior to our trip so all our activities could be coordinated. They informed us that many of the activities we were interested in (horseback riding, truffle hunting, winery tour) were offsite and so would require us to drive, but they were very helpful in arranging a private ride back and forth to Florence and a 2-day car rental while we were at the property so we could go to these activities and take a day trip to Pisa. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, the rooms and bathrooms were spacious, the grounds were clean and well-maintained, and the views were phenomenal. We very much appreciated everyone's efforts in making our stay so fabulous!

I rarely leave reviews, but after this recent stay, I feel compelled to share my experience. Firstly, I must commend the waitstaff for their exceptional service. However, our room had an unpleasant odor that seemed to be a mixture of louis and an overpowering perfume used to mask it. Regrettably, the hotel was fully booked, and the receptionist was unwilling to consider a refund. Her handling of the situation lacked the professionalism one expects from a five-star establishment. Despite our attempts to find a solution, we were met with disappointment throughout our stay. While the breakfast and location were acceptable, it's my opinion that this hotel falls short of a five-star rating and is better suited as a four-star establishment.

Villa le Calvane is an excellent place to spend a vacation. It has a wonderful location with beautiful views. Service was excellent. We loved this boutique hotel! I still dream about their breakfasts. However, I wasn’t crazy about their dinner menu. I can’t wait to go back there. I already recommended this place to my friends who are planning to go to Tuscany.

I rarely leave reviews, but after this recent stay, I feel compelled to share my experience. Firstly, I must commend the waitstaff for their exceptional service. However, our room had an unpleasant odor that seemed to be a mixture of louis and an overpowering perfume used to mask it. Regrettably, the hotel was fully booked, and the receptionist was unwilling to consider a refund. Her handling of the situation lacked the professionalism one expects from a five-star establishment. Despite our attempts to find a solution, we were met with disappointment throughout our stay. While the breakfast and location were acceptable, it's my opinion that this hotel falls short of a five-star rating and is better suited as a four-star establishment.

Villa le Calvane is an excellent place to spend a vacation. It has a wonderful location with beautiful views. Service was excellent. We loved this boutique hotel! I still dream about their breakfasts. However, I wasn’t crazy about their dinner menu. I can’t wait to go back there. I already recommended this place to my friends who are planning to go to Tuscany.
