This is one of the most amazing hotels I have ever been in Kyoto. The service is 5 stars, amenities, rooms, and the Onsen that made my stay. I have tattoos and I was really worried about to not being allowed to enter but on the contrary I felt welcomed and o enjoyed the full experience every day. I’ll come back to this place every time I visit Kyoto.

I can’t say enough about this property. I brought my 10 year-old daughter to this property and it was such an incredible experience. First, when you walk in you have to take your shoes off, which is so unusual for Americans, but it really set the stage for a great stay. It is a busy hotel. There are lots of people and lots of luggage in the lobby, but don’t let that fool you. Once you’re in your room it is pretty quiet. The rooms are tiny, but it really doesn’t matter because you only sleep in the room. The best part about this hotel is the unbelievable breakfast. I’ve never seen so many items in a breakfast buffet. Also the Osen was truly an incredible experience, especially for American tourists. It was unusual at first, but we ended up going every single night stayed in the hotel. My daughter said it was the best part of her day. Also, free popsicles, coffee/matcha bar, and massage chairs were just the cherry on top. And also to mention, super close to Kyoto station where you can get all transportation options. Highly recommend!

This was a great stay! The staff was very friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Every morning during my stay, I visited the hot springs located inside the hotel, which were the perfect way to relax after long days of exploring this beautiful city. I highly recommend this hotel. It’s also just a 12-minute walk from Kyoto Station, making it very convenient. The next time I come to Kyoto, I will definitely stay here again.

Staff was very friendly and nice. The hotel is definitely designed to churn through hundreds of people a day. There is no lounge area to have a coffee or relax outside of your room. Breakfast is 100% not worth the charge. I just skipped after having it once even though I paid for it. The free noodles are cup noodle quality. Not enough massage chairs and the floors in elevators were dirty even though we have to be shoe less. The room was very basic and the mini fridge didn’t get cold.

This hotel is definitely different from others where you need to lock your shoes before entering the hotel through the lobby area. Staff were very nice and professional. The room we stayed at was big compared to the other hotels, consisting of a living room and a separate room for a queen size bed.
This is a family friendly hotel, therefore there were foreign families with kids that would be talking loudly. Even playing around in the onsen area where it should be quiet.
Overall stay was nice. Would recommend to friends for sure.

The amenities make this stay so worth it, the onsen was absolutely amazing and the location was perfect, around a 7 min walk from Kyoto station. There are many restaurants around too. The only inconvenience was that some other guests with children were being very loud in the onsen which made it a little uncomfortable, other than that, it was great. Room is very spacious too.
