Lovely historic hotel in the centre of Nairobi. We had a club room which gave us access to the 1902 Lounge. The service from the hotel staff was excellent and we had a great history tour of the hotel from Maxwell, who was very knowledgeable. It was a very memorable stay.

The Sarova Stanley hotel was an absolute delight! We spent a night here, eagerly anticipating our morning connection via Safarilink. Our stay could have been even longer, but it was so great that we didn’t want it to end. Raechel and Paul, our friendly staff, went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. They helped us check in a bit past midnight, even though it was a bit late. They also created a wake-up call to ensure we had enough time to grab breakfast before our 6:45 am departure. We’ll definitely make it a point to stay here again on our next visit.

I wouldn’t consider thisba 5 star hotel I will consider it to be a 3 star its very old missing alot of amenities need some major upgrades good place if you want to be in the heart of Nairobi but overall a 3 star

Our stay at the Sarova Stanley was great. The staff was helpful and thoughtful. For example, a team member saw me walking in the hall in socks, briefly and provided slippers. The decor gives a sense of its colonial roots and the restaurants offer a great variety of Kenyan, South Asian and other cuisine. The bathrooms could use an update. The only major complaint was getting someone to get phone working. I had to text a manager to assist after 3 verbal requests. Despite this, a lovely hotel in a fascinating city.
