Beautiful hotel with rooms overlooking the Mekong River. Rooms are lovely, spacious, very clean and comfortable with balcony. Swimming pool also beautiful (but bear in mind there are about 150 steps to get to it!). We had dinner at the hotel which was very nice and bfast was set, probably because we had an early transfer. Hotel rooms and views are so beautiful, i wish we'd stayed a few more days. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Would definitely recommend.

Nice room.. pleasant staff, grateful for the easy pick up from the bit terminal. Food very average in flavour, breakfast was minimal... fruit on a stick, crepe and eggs... it felt there was meant to be a French fusion vibe... but wasn't feeling it, that said they clearly do amazing work with the community so fair play and good luck. Great work

I was in one of the deluxe rooms overlooking the Mekong in the building at the top of the hill. My room was incredible with amazing views and cool design with the bed oriented to the river view. Amazing as it was, however, the room isn't very functional. Getting the doors open to the balcony is a challenge, and guests in adjacent rooms can see into your room easily, so privacy is a bit of an issue. In the room itself, there's no desk space to work from (or sit down) and the luxe design with the bath amenities is exposed to other guests looking in your curtains are open. The open-air restaurant is wonderful for an evening meal, but breakfast is not buffet and limited in options. Plus, most people staying are only for 1 night because they're on the slow boat to Luang Prabang, so the timing is tight to eat, check out, and get the shuttle down to the river for your boat's departure. The pool area is fantastic, and the staff were very helpful and attentive. The night I stayed here, there was a lot of loud music from neighboring private properties and when I complained, the manager said there's nothing that can be done about it. Not the property's fault, and could be an issue with other hotels in the small town of Pakbeng. Still, a bit frustrating, though eventually the music did stop. Despite my criticism, this hotel is worth staying at multiple nights to really soak up the resort atmosphere.

The setting is incredible and the property utilized every opportunity to capitalize on the natural beauty of the view and surrounding foliage. Just as important as the setting was the attentive beautiful people who work there. The food was great and well presented.

The breakfast experience was disappointing; I waited 25 minutes for my food, and they refused to provide bread while I was waiting for my noodles. Additionally, I was only given one bottle of water for a two-night stay, which was inconvenient.

Beautiful spot overlooking the Mekong, plus helpful and friendly staff. Only gripe was the limited set meal for supper, and with no vegetarian option,

Arrivés en bateau depuis le Mékong pour entrer au Laos, nous avons profité de cet hébergement au calme, avec une vue magnifique face à un sanctuaire d'éléphant ! Nous avons eu la surprise d'être surclassé pour avoir une chambre en hauteur avec Balcon pour admirer le couché de soleil.

Beim Frühstück fehlten nur Schinken und Käse, alles andere war perfekt! Shuttle super. Pool erfrischend, Lage herausragend‼️👍

Very poorly managed. No hair dryers. They literally act like you’re inconveniencing them by even asking… “you can come pick one up in the other building.”

Good, River/Mountain facing room, Excellent setting over Mekong river. 1 night stay very comfortable. Good breakfast and dinner with veg options

Vue imprenable sur le Mékong, chambre fonctionnelle, smart TV, bouilloire, on déplore juste le manque de sèche-cheveu mais le reste était très bien. Petit déjeuner et dîner parfait. Service de pick up et drop off également.

Chambre cosy mais celles du RdC ont une vue sur le Mekong en bonne partie masquée par la vegetation. Bon restaurant

We thoroughly enjoyed our short but beautiful stay at this great property. With superb views of the mighty Mekong and 2 decks to enjoy them from, we were reluctant to leave our room. The bed & pillows were super comfy, making for a very good night's sleep. The staff made us hearty breakfast boxes for our early morning departure, plus free transfers were included from and to the pier to catch our slow boat. I could've easily stayed another couple of nights to fully immerse myself in the Mekong experience.

Nothing terrible but nothing stood out either. Nice views from the room but not worth the cost compared to the surrounding properties.

Dieses Hotel ist wirklich toll. Gleich nach der Ankunft mit dem Slow Boat am Pier wartet schon der hoteleigene Transfer. Dieser ist kostenlos und muss nicht extra vorbestellt werden. Dann gibts einen Welcome Drink beim Einchecken und für Gäste mit Exclusive Rooms einen erneuten kurzen Transfer zum "oberen" Haus, das im Prinzip eigentlich ein separates zweites Hotel mit eigenem Restaurant ist. Die Aussicht ist grandios, genauso wie das sehr feine Abendessen.
